Also one other thing. If you REALLY want your video to stand out above all, make your story original. Most glmms I seen are mostly romance, even on a serious situation, like in love with the mafia leader or a murderer. I would suggest watching movies or tv shows you’re interested in, and then write your ideas down. Have the beginning, middle, and the end, and have a plot idea, like a problem that has occured, and write down how they should solve the problem. You can make stories other than just romance, like action, medieval timeline, or what I wanna see more of is grimdark and horror. There are so many ways to make a good gacha video, and I unfortunately don’t see enough of them :,3

SOMEONE FINALLY CALLS OUT THE INSANE SLURPUS OF ROMANCE IN THIS COMMUNITY❗️❗️❗️ I know there's still some good and original romantic stuff being put out there but every other genre is practically unexplored!
@nova-witchwoodАй бұрын
XD my idea of romantic relationships in stories is usually not to only write a romance story but a story with romance. I have the idea of a prophet and her devotee in love, I have the idea of love between a goddess of art, of emotion and morals, and a machine. I have the love between two villains created by the same lonely child. But the love is just another part of the plot rather than the whole thing. I am mostly doing rationalist fiction, my usual genre is science fantasy along with lots of existential horror. It’s just my favorite. Either that or epics about the multiverse that I only do scenes of since i don’t have the time to complete them.

@@A1Tutorialist Just the pain of being an artist-😔😔 But honestly if you have the patience and motivation, it’s a really good way to have full control over colors, and what you want in a background! Not to mention it’s completely unique to you or the character- it also helps you to really get to know your characters, like if you drew their bedroom! What would they have in it? Is it messy or clean? Do they maybe do photography and hang their photos on the walls? Are they a silly little tech nerd and just have robot parts scattered across their desk? Are they themselves an artist? Do they maybe have a childhood stuffed animal they keep on their bed? It’s really fun! For me at least- the pain is worth it for the up in quality, and the endless amount of little easter eggs you can squeeze in that either your fanbase, or even just your friends who know your characters, will recognize! I’m a huge sucker for little details- (Ahem, enough with the paragraph now, i’ve typed too much-😭)

Could you make a video about "how to make your character look actual good"? Unlike those boring Gacha bad boy thing that are everywhere, and I'm a little out of creativity 😅
@SaromeGamerАй бұрын
Here are some tips: 1. Add lore to your characters, motives, personality traits ect 2. Make your character desigh based of of their personality traits, eg: if ur character is optimistic make them wear colors that represent hapiness like yellow, if ur character is pessimistic make them wear blue or black clothes. Keep in mind if ur character also is hiding their emotions, personality ect. DO NOT MAKE THEM WEAR OR LOOK LIKE BASED OF OF THEIR PERSONALITY, unless they are pretty bad at hiding their emotions lol 3. Dont make gacha bad boys
@nova-witchwoodАй бұрын
look at what actual people wear for realistic clothing styles, else browse other people’s character designs. wholesale stealing is bad, inspiration is good. btw I dislike having color palettes based entirely on personality. was it ever true in reality that villains wore solely dark colors? I even have a villain who prefers wearing bright blue and orange, even when not pretending to be a hero. In that case it turns from an ‘innocent blue’ to ‘crazy/powerful blue’ trope. If all your optimistic characters use yellow then you’re doomed. Why can’t an optimistic character wear lavender? And people wear clothes sometimes according to their interests, but also according to culture, according to what is in fashion. And what society says is a dark gritty utilitarian look can be what a character who doesn’t care for clothing style wears. and make as many bad boys as you want. just don’t make them only bad boys.
@erastiesa24 күн бұрын
Id suggest looking at popular characters in cartoons and such practice unique sillhouettes to make ur characters stand out from eachother learn how to convey the character and theres personality from their design alone it may sound hard but character design is very easy to understand if u actually pay attention

Although I do think it can create a more interesting effect there's nothing wrong with using gotcha backgrounds it can be used for Nostalgia or to create a certain effect just like green screen backgrounds can be used for their purposes it just depends on what you're going for

But I mostly do animation meme-type videos :/ I feel like the way the title is worded makes it seem like you're talking about GachaTubers who do any type of videos instead of those who primarily do mini movies. These are good tips though! I will definitely consider these when I finally decide to make a mini movie or series. But maybe consider rewording the title to clarify that you're talking about mini movie GachaTubers, unless you're actually talking about all kinds of GachaTubers and I somehow missed something.
@A1TutorialistАй бұрын
I understand you’re confusion. I used the title like that because I have a plan on improving Gacha’s reputation as a whole. And when normal adults talk about Gacha, they refer to the mini movies. And the movies are really the only problem here. You didn’t miss anything. I missed something.

Similar to lighting, music can also help you out setting a mood. Such as if a character is experiencing something that makes them sad, you can use a sound track with a sad undertone, if a character is at a fancy restaurant with their lover, use romantic or classical music, if a character is somewhere scary or experiencing something traumatizing, use a soundtrack with that undertone. I in general use soundtracks from “Omori” in which they can vary from happy all the way to scary, or a music box cover to a song with the under tone needed. I wouldn’t recommend using anything with lyrics because it can distract the viewer from the dialogue especially when the video has a voice over.

number 1 STOP profitting off other people's works. "Search up backgrounds!" - most of these artists do NOT allow for their works to be used. These images aren't just there for usage. ALWAYS look for artist terms. So tired off all these gachatubers whose "tips" are literally 'get this thing from this place' - you are not giving advice for content creation. You're giving advice for EASY shortcuts that do not improve you in the long run. Additionally, stop making react videos. One of my friends eventually shut down her entire channel due to her work getting put into react videos despite her clarifying multiple times to said people to stop. Get actually creative, stop thinking that online tips will improve you, focus on your writing instead of making all these pretty looking videos. Most of these aesthetic videos have no actual interesting content other than, "look at this pretty oc!" disguised as a story. Not a hate comment. Geniune advice.

I agree with everything you say. 1) about the backgrounds, please use images that don’t say “licensed” on them. 2) this is just the beginning for my tutorials, InshaAllah I will also make on improving your storytelling. We can vindicate the Gacha community if we improve by 1% everyday. This video does not explain everything. I will soon explain everything. Everything.

actually , as someone who enjoys gl2mms , glmms , and gcmms , custom backgrounds that are too high quality look bad against your character if you dont do the proper lighting needed . Even a few highlights will make it look alot better , another problem with custom backgrounds are that your character looks out of place if you get too realistic ones , so no , custom backgrounds isnt gonna save you if you don't do it right .
@A1TutorialistАй бұрын
I agree. Backgrounds that are too realistic is going to throw your video off. Which is why we will search for “anime backgrounds” since some are already used in Gacha club and it seems fine. And it will take some practice to get the custom lighting done properly. I myself am still learning.
@Ka-BO0MАй бұрын
@A1Tutorialist Yeah , one of my biggest tips for making your character fit in is actually adding an overlay and multiply layer of the image and clipping it to your character , just add like whatever the lighting color is and it's a really simple but effective way

I've seen so many people with custom backgrounds. At this point, if you want to be completely unique, you should just draw your own backgrounds

In conclusion, be a normal-civilised creative/imaginary person. Jokes aside i thought it was pretty uncommon for how gachatubers that makes mini movies have their own original background/story and stuff? im actually surprised how so little of them are actually challenging themselves on how much they can use the app with so much materials they can use. They basically have the power to create stories yet it's so limited by just solely using the app
