Also one other thing. If you REALLY want your video to stand out above all, make your story original. Most glmms I seen are mostly romance, even on a serious situation, like in love with the mafia leader or a murderer. I would suggest watching movies or tv shows you’re interested in, and then write your ideas down. Have the beginning, middle, and the end, and have a plot idea, like a problem that has occured, and write down how they should solve the problem. You can make stories other than just romance, like action, medieval timeline, or what I wanna see more of is grimdark and horror. There are so many ways to make a good gacha video, and I unfortunately don’t see enough of them :,3

@nova-witchwood2 ай бұрын
XD my idea of romantic relationships in stories is usually not to only write a romance story but a story with romance. I have the idea of a prophet and her devotee in love, I have the idea of love between a goddess of art, of emotion and morals, and a machine. I have the love between two villains created by the same lonely child. But the love is just another part of the plot rather than the whole thing. I am mostly doing rationalist fiction, my usual genre is science fantasy along with lots of existential horror. It’s just my favorite. Either that or epics about the multiverse that I only do scenes of since i don’t have the time to complete them.

@@A1Tutorialist Just the pain of being an artist-😔😔 But honestly if you have the patience and motivation, it’s a really good way to have full control over colors, and what you want in a background! Not to mention it’s completely unique to you or the character- it also helps you to really get to know your characters, like if you drew their bedroom! What would they have in it? Is it messy or clean? Do they maybe do photography and hang their photos on the walls? Are they a silly little tech nerd and just have robot parts scattered across their desk? Are they themselves an artist? Do they maybe have a childhood stuffed animal they keep on their bed? It’s really fun! For me at least- the pain is worth it for the up in quality, and the endless amount of little easter eggs you can squeeze in that either your fanbase, or even just your friends who know your characters, will recognize! I’m a huge sucker for little details- (Ahem, enough with the paragraph now, i’ve typed too much-😭)

Some other tips- Tip 1: Use shadows! Take your green screen clip of your oc and duplicate it and Turing it all back and lower the opacity this will make it look more realistic and higher quality! - also if you have a spot on the background where light is coming in *example: the window:* make sure your shadows face away from that. Tip 2 : add animation to your texts! If a text just shows up randomly it will look boring a good way to fix that is by adding pre-made animation to it or using key-frames to make a custom animation. Tip 3 : after tip 1 when you save your video open a new project and zoom in a bit adding a key frame at the beginning and end. The beginning starting at the left side of the screen and the ending at the right side of the screen! - Make sure you do this before adding your texts otherwise some words could get cut out! :)

Could you make a video about "how to make your character look actual good"? Unlike those boring Gacha bad boy thing that are everywhere, and I'm a little out of creativity 😅
@SaromeGamer2 ай бұрын
Here are some tips: 1. Add lore to your characters, motives, personality traits ect 2. Make your character desigh based of of their personality traits, eg: if ur character is optimistic make them wear colors that represent hapiness like yellow, if ur character is pessimistic make them wear blue or black clothes. Keep in mind if ur character also is hiding their emotions, personality ect. DO NOT MAKE THEM WEAR OR LOOK LIKE BASED OF OF THEIR PERSONALITY, unless they are pretty bad at hiding their emotions lol 3. Dont make gacha bad boys
@nova-witchwood2 ай бұрын
look at what actual people wear for realistic clothing styles, else browse other people’s character designs. wholesale stealing is bad, inspiration is good. btw I dislike having color palettes based entirely on personality. was it ever true in reality that villains wore solely dark colors? I even have a villain who prefers wearing bright blue and orange, even when not pretending to be a hero. In that case it turns from an ‘innocent blue’ to ‘crazy/powerful blue’ trope. If all your optimistic characters use yellow then you’re doomed. Why can’t an optimistic character wear lavender? And people wear clothes sometimes according to their interests, but also according to culture, according to what is in fashion. And what society says is a dark gritty utilitarian look can be what a character who doesn’t care for clothing style wears. and make as many bad boys as you want. just don’t make them only bad boys.

Id suggest looking at popular characters in cartoons and such practice unique sillhouettes to make ur characters stand out from eachother learn how to convey the character and theres personality from their design alone it may sound hard but character design is very easy to understand if u actually pay attention

You tell why or why not a certain thing works, show the process, and even provide examples! I don't use gacha anymore/haven't gotten back to it yet, but I think this is still essential for creators in general that want to convey a story. This one might be slightly unrelated, but when using chromakey for greenscreen, try also adjusting the "shadow" feature. If used properly and adjusted well, it can sharpen the character more! Also, it shows shadows but I don't really recommend using it for that. Leave the bar around 5-25, depending on how light or dark the general color theme of your character is!
@Unkn0wn_user122 ай бұрын
Similar to lighting, music can also help you out setting a mood. Such as if a character is experiencing something that makes them sad, you can use a sound track with a sad undertone, if a character is at a fancy restaurant with their lover, use romantic or classical music, if a character is somewhere scary or experiencing something traumatizing, use a soundtrack with that undertone. I in general use soundtracks from “Omori” in which they can vary from happy all the way to scary, or a music box cover to a song with the under tone needed. I wouldn’t recommend using anything with lyrics because it can distract the viewer from the dialogue especially when the video has a voice over.
@TwinkleMaddie2 ай бұрын
But I mostly do animation meme-type videos :/ I feel like the way the title is worded makes it seem like you're talking about GachaTubers who do any type of videos instead of those who primarily do mini movies. These are good tips though! I will definitely consider these when I finally decide to make a mini movie or series. But maybe consider rewording the title to clarify that you're talking about mini movie GachaTubers, unless you're actually talking about all kinds of GachaTubers and I somehow missed something.
@A1Tutorialist2 ай бұрын
I understand you’re confusion. I used the title like that because I have a plan on improving Gacha’s reputation as a whole. And when normal adults talk about Gacha, they refer to the mini movies. And the movies are really the only problem here. You didn’t miss anything. I missed something.
