Yeah for people who don't regularly have this style of climbing set in their gyms, be careful. Anyone climbing in these compy sort of gyms knows someone that hurt their shin or ankle on a low to the ground volume traverse.

if "running" or "crossing"over is not your style, you can do a static movement, since you state that you have more balance

I usually find swinging the foot helps with the co-ordinated problems. Builds momentum so you can run across
