As a 40 year old man who has made a lot of choices in my life and one was giving up alcohol I've come to realize their friends are nothing but problems Dan Pena says it correctly there are only three things in life that matters your health your family and money you can buy everything else

I gave up alcohol for almost 4 years now and come to realize that those so call friends weren't really my friends. What a waste of time that was folks

42 here brother. I spent the last 13 years making myself the man I should have been. I learned that you never stop. Your absolutely correct. The old saying "misery loves company" became apparent early on who was happy to see me succeed and those who weren't. 99.9% of the people I new from twenty plus years ago still have same fucking problems. I'm happy you're your doing right for yourself. For what it's worth I'm in your corner!

I am embarrassed that I’ve never heard of this man. I still have not googled him yet and the interesting thing is I’m extremely intelligent and have been following motivational speaking for years. Wow I will never forget today right now. The first time I heard this man speak he’s a national treasure.

I know exactly were Dan's coming from I was raised by a combat veteran a Vietnam veteran at that from age just about I want to say 2 years old but it's kind of foggy but let's just say three all the way up until I was about you know 18 when I turn 19 Yeah remember stuff Father we clashed and I I left the house that day that was it I was gone I hit the road never looked back couple years later I come back to the house and well that's my own business It's something to see happen to a parent that you looked up to and who raised you have issues with certain things from the war it affected me to see him in the way he was when I come back 3 years later it was a pivotal point in my life as a 22-year-old mental illness is devastating The back on the subject I have like I said I agree with that and my experience was the same my stuff out there who I consider my father now cuz he raised me from such an A's and he chose to raise me with no other men wanted to take on the job and it was a hell of a job cuz I was unmanageable I was out of control at one point I was considered to be he and considered throwing me and reform school just like Dan or military school I was threatened with that that didn't happen but now at 47 it took me till I was probably about age 37 to really realized how fortunate I was to have the man that I had raised me I had a badass combat Vietnam veteran father you know You can look at it anyway you want but that's the way I look at it I was lucky he wasn't badass The shit he did over there jumping on a plains calling off hamburger Hill He's a marksman he had the infantry combat badge he was in the 101 he the special forces he my stuff out of his over there from 1961 he was 18 at that time he was born in 43 and he stayed until 1971 he was there 10 goddamn years wouldn't you become a hardened ass mother fucker How would you be How do you think you would come out of that to see some of your friends not see some see your friends get fucking killed a lot of your friends and you and you be the one only survive through all that shit I get with my stepfather went through now once you grow up and some people never do grow up though but once you do it just the whole world opens up to you I'm not 47 and I'm going back to college here I'm going to college first year undergraduate for two years associates degree and indoor agriculture which I'm going to springboard into a bachelor's degree of plant chemistry and just came to my knowledge the where I'm going to school out here they have a bachelor fine arts degree that I'm going to pursue in photography digital photography so I don't need motivational videos I've had my stepfather raise me I know what it means to just do I've been doing since I was 13 working spit shining combat boots pressing fatigues you know I have no problems with the way I was raised These kids today need her ass beaten from their parents It's a shame the way these laws are in this country It's all the sham and a fucking joke and bullshit 💯🎯🤙

30 seconds in and he names top names of the past 150 years and says they’re all hard as nails. Refuses to also state that they all had inherited money. Yes, the mindset makes champions but don’t compare someone with money vs someone who doesn’t. They can have the same mindset but the advantages our painfully obvious

I don't particularly like this guy. On the other hand he speaks like a Heavy weight boxer with no bullshit (take a hit from a HW boxer and then tell me this guy is full of shit). I've had my own father say I'm not capable, like fuck I'm not!! My plans aren't just 12 months or 5 years into the future. All together it's 36 years of goals I have set! Anyone who puts me down as a no hoper, I will be the one who laughs when I make it! Parts of the plan are coming together!
