Dan Pena is the BIGGEST LIAR! So many lies. In fact here I will be addressing the inconsistencies : There’s no way someone born in 1944 could have been drafted in the Vietnam War at age 21 or 22 in 1966 and simultaneously served as a company commander in NATO. Here’s why: 1. Draft vs. Command Eligibility: The draft targeted men aged 18-26, and most draftees started as privates or junior officers after basic training. Company commanders, on the other hand, are typically senior captains with years of experience. To become a company commander by age 22, he would’ve needed to join the military around age 16, which is implausible under NATO or U.S. military career structures. 2. Command Rank and Career Progression: Company commanders in NATO are usually in their late 20s or early 30s. Even if this person had an exceptional career, the absolute youngest realistic age to command a company would be 25-27, not 22. Claiming to hold such a position at 22 in 1966 defies standard military timelines. 3. Geographical Assignments: NATO operations were centered in Europe, while the Vietnam War involved Southeast Asia. It’s illogical for someone to be commanding NATO forces in Europe while simultaneously being drafted or volunteering for the Vietnam War, which would have required deployment to Vietnam. 4. The 1944 Birth Year Conflict: If this person was born in 1944, they turned 22 in 1966. By this timeline: • They claim to have been drafted or volunteered for Vietnam, which would place them as a junior soldier or officer in Southeast Asia. • At the same time, they claim to have been commanding a NATO company, a position requiring years of experience and a completely different deployment path. In short, the timelines and career requirements don’t align. It’s impossible for someone born in 1944 to have been drafted or volunteered for Vietnam while simultaneously commanding a NATO company at age 22. This claim doesn’t hold water.

Pena is not for everyone. He has some valid points and others to ignore. You have to balance some of his rhetoric. But what amazes me more than that are the soft candy-assed easily offended replies in the comments section. Makes total sense why our society is failing the way it is today in a terminal decline. Safe spaces are not an ingredient for success.

Interesting anecdote for everyone. When Enron went down for corruption and ethics violations they had a study to figure out how a company started by Edison ended up in such moral decay and this is the exact reason. Every year they had reviews and fired the bottom half of people and that creates an environment that turned toxic and lead to people breaking the law. They cumulatively lost billions of dollars for shareholders and pensioners so I would argue how profitable that mindset was, not to mention Enron no longer exists.

The majority of people cannot handle the raw truth, especially when it comes from someone who knows what it takes to become a high-performance individual in life. The truth is rarely pretty, folks, and it all starts with not caring what other people think. Call Dan egotistical because of how he expresses himself-Muhammad Ali was the same, and so was Teddy Roosevelt. Dan's paramilitary-style teachings have positively transformed thousands of lives-mentally, internally, and economically-through his honest, brutal approach to achieving results.

I think we need to still hear these voices, but imo they are of the past. It’s possible to just move forward successfully in life through just plain pure love. Guys like these are important. It frustrates me that people in my generation.......baby boomers.....do not see it when our grandparents were gold that left us in our late teens or early 20s. My Great Grandfather was the best person in my life. I know he loves me. Did not mean he was soft on me. He reminded me how long my childhood was compared to my adulthood. There was no time for lacking my education. Adulthood comes quickly, if you are not ready the world will chew you up and spit you out. I am glad I am older now. I don't want to be alive during the stupid age.
@jenniferwilliams-braun3030
@jenniferwilliams-braun3030 3 күн бұрын
I agree with you completely. I am also a baby boomer. My father fought in WWII and the Korean war. Although he was not always a soft man, he was disciplined and expected everyone to appreciate the benefits of being so. He was also tender if he felt he'd loose communication with one of his children. I don't think the entire message was about money alone. It was more about taking life and opportunities seriously. He talked about reprimanding our children. Sometimes we need to get woken up. The example Mr. Peña gave about training lions when they're young and not being harsh, but intentional and always dependable. The lions always got the same answer when misbehaving, or behaving aggressively. I wish I had had the money for him to train me. We only need a few tips sometimes to get the mindset and motivation to remove ourselves from non-beneficial environments. Life is about doing better for ourselves and others. Insecurity is useless. It doesn't bring understanding or build bridges.

Also when somebody takes the effort to point out your flaws from a sincere place, take that as a gift, you were just handed an opportunity to see part of yourself that you might be blind to and can improve upon. Plato defined courage as "knowing what to fear and what not to fear". To me it seems like he learned to fear his father, but through that he learned to fear weakness and dishonour, as he described when he stopped taking drugs when his father put a gun to his head. Ideally he would have learned to fear dishonour without also fearing his father, but maybe it would have been worse to have not feared either.

Interesting interview with Mr. Peña. I surprisingly agreed with a lot of what he shared. I also can practice what I learned in AA, “take what you need and leave the rest". I can see through to his injured inner child. He was a victim of tremendous abuse, like most of your guests. He dismisses much of it. I’m guessing his behaviors stemmed from his upbringing. I hope he will find a way to reconnect with his children. Break the cycle! Maybe get them involved in his charity work? Thanks, Mark. Best to all!

He is controversial, yes. He can quite "over the top", but if you read between the lines and really understand his message, you would see him to be real (unlike lots of other fake gurus out there). His teachings are more about self-esteem, work ethic, not being woke, and of course buying businesses. Focus on those.

I never heard of him. Clearly, we don’t run in the same circles. But, I enjoyed every second of this interview. He could have easily been another statistic but he wasn’t because he decided he was going to the better. He’s an alpha male and a lot of people are offended by that. He knows his shit and people are offended by that. We are to soft on our kids. They can’t do anything…. They’re killing innocent people, themselves, mental health is at all time high. We need to stop babying them and let them have experiences and see how to deal with them. You know if a person is different and meant to do something. We need more men like him coming up AND FEMALES.

We are caring BUT we are tough. Our son is at West Point now living his best life. Our daughter is still in hs and she is focused on a meaningful life. 2. I'm really surprised that Mark is agreeing with almost everything this guy says. This guy comes across as a bully who honestly doesn't seem like he cares about other people's feelings at all. Mark's view until now has been to care about everyone, and treating all people with dignity and respect. The total opposite of what this guy seems tonstand for. I have a hard time seeing this guy having compassion, patience and understanding for Rebecca, Patrick, Caroline or any of the other honeless people in here. This guy seems to have a lot of Trump's personality. I don't know exactly what Trump thinks about homeless people but I'd imagine he'd just like to set them on fire or something.

Gotta love Dan's humility; He only knows CIA agents, mafia members, generals; he beat everyone up and killed bears with his bare hands (pun intended). He was the smartest and most successful person. Notice when the interviewer lets him go on he starts deviating from his story unto another person so you can't see through his hilariously fantastical stories. Just ridiculousness personified in 2 hours. No need for humble people when we have ole Dan around; Small man syndrome...some may say, Napoleon complex.

Seems to me like he’s confesssing to murder over and over. Sometimes, murderers like to confess their sins IF they get away with it, and live to be old FIRST. THEN, they confess either 1. right before dying, or 2. in their death bed. Good way to repent, a last effort at being forgiven so you can go to “heaven”. Nice of him to repent publicly. Problem is, he’s Caucasian. And rich. So they probably won’t prosecute him. Especially with his family being involved with working for the government. If he were black, like….P DIDDY black, uhm, BILL COSBY BLACK, or uhmm, OJ SIMPSON BLACK! Anyways, I’ll go back to minding my business. Carry on
