Tbh I like Connoly's Jeremy more than I do Roland's. The new Jeremy just seems too forced for me and the facial expressions are just so over the top it's not natural and cringy. I do adore Roland tho for his portrayal of Jared in DEH but I just dont think he's the right Jeremy. Also, may I ask why Connoly wasn't brought back to play Jeremy? I'd gladly appreciate it.

i'm sure they asked him, but connolly was doing clueless stuff during the off broadway run? as far as roland's jeremy goes, to each their own ofc, but i do remember that roland was considered the first time around during two rivers, so that's probably also why they asked roland during off broadway since he was no longer in deh.

i say this all the time and it sounds like i’m hating on will roland but i aBSOLUTELY A D O R E will roland, i just don’t think he’s the right actor to play this kind of role. i still love him as jeremy (and overall), but i significantly prefer will connolly and wish he was brought back (but i mean i have no clue if he was doing something else and couldn’t or just didn’t want to and i don’t wanna disrespect that either-)
