Layne is always pushing Geoff to go above and beyond. Geoff hates playing villains but Layne insists and to be fair, he does it so well!

So, so true, I love seeing the BTS bantering and Geoff grousing about Layne - while being grateful for his friend's honest feedback and challenging arrangements. And although the claims of demand-- err suggesting "singing in Klingon" and c7's from Eli might be slightly exaggerated, I think Geoff gives as good as he gets. 😆 That's the beauty of such a close-knit group, they support and push each other, and they compose in such a way as to make everyone else shine too - sometimes to the point that they need a competitive pal to write them a HEADACHE of an arrangement that they gotta go all out on. 'cause once it's on the table, they 1000% commit! Vocals, acting, costumes, effects... this video right here has it all.❣💯 I think Geoff has stated that playing the villains is really fun for him - with the notable exception of creeps like Frollo. Quite understandable, most of us don't have to deal with sea witches or regicidal brothers, but a man in a position of power who blames the marginalized woman he's fallen in lust with for his own destructive obsession and failure to be a decent human being? That's depressingly realistic, and a very uncomfortable role to portray for a kind-hearted, respectful guy like Geoff. Shoutout to Layne for writing such an amazing arrangement of❤‍🔥HELLFIRE❤‍🔥that Geoff couldn't resist and gave the fans what they wanted!

With a name like Killgore, which includes both kill and gore, I suppose it's hard not to kill it. And a steak on a plate is still less dead than how solid Layne killed this, as always. ❤🎉

Great reaction! You're quite right, Scar's mercurial mood shifting - affably evil and manipulative at one point, utterly menacing and authorative the next - displays Geoff's vocal range and acting skills very nicely. That quasi-belting in the finale, whoa! And there's so much to love from the other guys too, their kickass singing, as well as the attention to detail: The Voiceplay-original bit with the "dad and the cub" leading into the childhood classic "No king, no king, lalalalalala!" Ed!Cesar's glassy-eyed "lights aren't all on upstairs" salute 🤣 Layne fear-beatboxing on tippy toes and so many more. VP videos are REWATCH GOLD! They really created a sinister and menacing mood, and yet it's such a banger of a song. It looks like everyone performing had a great time, and I hope you had fun reacting to it as well.
