Ex called me yesterday. He’s actually been getting weekly counselling and working on himself - which shocked me a lot more than his call itself (whcih was expected as per Craig’s videos). We had lots of red flags but if he’s actually working on himself - I might actually consider giving him a second chance. He has to work on himself pretty hard though and do all the work between us. Either way, I’m still working on myself for the reasons you say in this video. I want to improve myself and my attachment style.

This video is great, Coach. I've been going through a bad breakup for the past few months and it happened because of me. Like you said hurt people hurt people. I was abused a lot as a kid and I hurt the woman I loved in my first real relationship. I've been working on improving myself little by little and your videos have been a great source of comfort especially when I'm down. Thank you.

Or, instead of searching for that...download Coach Craig's workbook series "The Knowledge" Vol. I & II available now (after all, we are on Craig's channel here). These bring down anxiety and forward your personal growth, people! Stop listening to other, uneducated, coaches out there who rely on slimy tactics like the "XYZ" rule...blah blah blah. These workbooks and Craig's videos are the real deal.

@@CorporateQueen I understand and can appreciate that point. I guess mine however is that Mel Robbins is a lawyer, not a psychotherapist. She's going to make a quick-tactic product to try to appeal to millions. The content here is much deeper and of a clinical psychological nature. Not attacking you here, but if you advertise other people on Craig's channel, you can expect others to poke holes in the people/products being advertised. Good luck. :)

@@android1012 not remotely bothered by your comments. One is a 20 buck book about motivation. The other is an investment in relationship. Maybe there are people who don't have all the $$$ who can't afford much. I mentioned it because it's a good book and I wanted to share it with the nice people who watch this channel because I think it might help some folks. Don't care who it's written by or what they do for a living. If you've read it you'd know. You clearly haven't. I wasn't 'advertising'. I take no cut. It's merely a recommendation. Me and my ex got closer from not talking to hanging in a group to me staying the night on the couch after hanging out till 4 am just us. We talk all week planned on going out to play pool her next weekend off after me giving time over the weekend last Monday I asked how her weekend was she said nice work wasn't bad and she just took some her time...she started to text distant over the week Saturday I asked what time she would be there she said can't make it... I know it was a text and wasn't said but it felt cold like oh yea not coming forget to tell you.. I stayed calm just said o ok that's fine is everything alright? She replied yea everything is great... so o just said alright just checking I'll let you get back to work have a great night... so I'm thinking 9f radio silence 8m going on vacation this Friday and thinking just enjoy myself and not reach out..

I can give you direct experience on this. I neglected someone who loved me for four years. I never told her I loved her even though she told me constantly that she was in love with me. I was cold and distant, so when she eventually left me I was ok with it at first but then I slowly but surely started to really miss her. Soon after, found out she was with someone else and I was devastated. I went no contact but my pain and regret for causing her to leave me were too much. I reached out to her because I trusted she still loved me. I trusted that our bond we built was still there. Well she responded positively and we are reconciling, with me being much wiser to my actions that caused the problems. I'm not saying your story is the same but if she really loves you and you were that neglectful and only cause of breakup. It's worth a shot. In going no contact (for myself) all kinds of scenarios went through my mind, none of them were true, but I finally had to trust my past experiences with her and act on that. I'm glad I did. Good luck, it's a tough experience to go through.

literalsteve I gotta say your story gives me some hope, it’s been 3 weeks haven’t heard anything from her, she’s not the type of girl to just go to a new guy, so I’m not too worried about that, but yeah when would be a healthy time to reach out? Or should I just confront her right now?

How do I handle my ex being best friends with his ex wife? They don’t hang out all the time only when it’s something for their kids or family function. She was married to someone else for about 3 years or so and my ex became that guy’s friend as well of course. She is now single again. They have been divorced for about 18 years and when their kids were still little decide to put whatever behind them for their kids and coparent well. I have met her when my ex and I dated and it was a little awkward but not too bad. He had invited to me their daughter’s graduation party. I obviously don’t have a say now because he is my ex. I just wanted to know if maybe you could do a video about that? I don’t know what the future holds but what if my ex and I did get back together. I just don’t want to say or do the wrong things. I respect him for doing what he does but it does kind of bother me although I believe I have an anxious attachment style I have been working on that and I currently am seeing a therapist. I cNt afford a coaching session rt now but if possible would you be able to do a video on that topic and how to handle your ex or actually the person you’re dating being really good friends with their ex? Since he is contacting more now and he has been initiating it. However I’m not sure yet if we would get back together. Thank you. You’re videos have helped me so much.

Coach can you make a video on men addicted to paying for prostitutes. My ex cheated a lot. He now took a second trip to Thailand and its obvious what is for. He is a 49 year old with a low self esteem and can’t get a grip with aging. He makes it his business to reassure me he would not pay for sex. Blah blah. That I’m the last he has been with and him not being with anyone. I don’t get it. I’m not a fool, why would I even want him back after this trip. He cheated the first time he went and we were together, he would definitely cheat now. I should not want him back, my heart is struggling. He has an avoidant relationship style. His mother cheated. He has narcissistic characteristics as well. He also has anger problems. Does not address the problem logically. Can he change with counseling?
