In today's vlog I’ll show you around The Spot Oceanfront Studio Apartments, in Omawas, Eastern Samar, where I have a beachfront view for only $15 per night, and I’ll show you the surf breaks at Omawas Beach, and give you a tour of Mariamahalo Surf House where you can rent boards, get a surf lesson or hire a guide to take you to some of the best surf spots in the Philippines.
Surfing Philippines is great, especially in places like Borongan and Omawas.
Samara Island surf is a hidden gem with few crowds and many surfing spots. Eastern Samar tourist spots are also uncrowded and you will often have them all to yourself. Borongan Eastern Samar is the center for Samar surfing and is a great place to get supplies and information before exploring.

Wow I stayed across the street at Aiza’s place about 10 years ago. Amazing how much construction is there now! There were no beach front properties at on Omawas and just that little church across the street! Wow! It really built up a ton. Still one of the best empty waves I’ve ever had :)

As an American who has lived in PI and married a Filipina were now back here back in suburbia USA (Conn.!) and Not luvin it! I myself am retired and work when I want but living back in PI we could get -by on my SS- but as my wife is younger she still is addicted to running after $Dollars! Yeah- personally I could handle a simple lifestyle- a small Honda 125, shorts and T-shirt and be FREE from this Rat Race- so hold-down the American 'Fort' as some of us will be coming! Great video I enjoyed it!

@jimihendrixx11, I don't think they rent the place out any longer for the short term, only longer term. There are a few rentals there but nothing you can book on-line.
