This alternate version features Brian Wilson on lead vocals. It can be found on The Pet Sounds Sessions box set (Disc 3, Track 26) BTW, what does everyone think of this version? Should Brian have left the a cappella tag (feat his wife, her sister, Terry Melcher, and all The Beach Boys)? While I think it's beautiful, I feel that Brian made the right decision to keep it simple.

Idk, I prefer it with. Though I do think you have a point with the simplicity, but I would have cut something else and kept this, as I find it to be the most beautiful part of the song.
