I’m so use to watching all star competitive cheerleading that I feel like high school cheer routines are moving at the rate of a snail lol but then all star cheerleading don’t stop in between to chant it’s mostly stunting, tumble and dance

some of the squads needed a little bit more work on the stunts and the counts. but i really happy for Ocean Lakes, they were really clean, stunts, jump, counts and the tumbling too.

VA has stricter rules than some states because we're a sanctioned sport. Allstar is a big deal in VA, so that also sometimes pulls kids away from HS where they can't do as much

They were only a couple sharp squads. And when they were sharp there stunts were a bit sloppy. Not s lot but if I can notice it, so can the judges. My favorite honestly was the Ocean Lakes. They were doing something new but they weren't all over the place.

ummm cheerleading is HUGE in virginia.. this is just one competition in one town... just look up like "Briar Woods" amd "William Byrd" and "Brentsville District" and "Cosby"

Ocean Lakes were the clear winners followed closely by Cox but i thought Landstown was ahead of first colonial. it was fun trying to call the standings while i watched it.

I'm not used to slow routines or people throwing skills they don't have at a competition, and chanting. I do competitive cheer (like worlds and summit) And I'm on level 3 & 4 and I'm 11 so I always imagine older girls with more experience to be very talented because this is my 3rd year of cheer. No hate but they should make competitive high school cheer safer.

the second team that came on the girl who threw her little red thing got points knocked off her team. and ocean lakes was the best. it was so awkward when the girl crawled off the 43:01 in the corner. i think she broke her arm or something. Cox looked so pissed off that they got second but come on they weren't that good compared to Ocean Lakes.

No. Ocean Lakes deserved it. They nailed their routine both times, which I can't say for the other squads who messed up. The little things count and when anything wrong happens, the judges count off for it. The second place team was alright, but some parts of the last routine were sloppy, and there wasn't as much unison in the floor work as it was the first time.

I don't care who you are or what you did to yourself. You do not walk (or crawl) off that mat. If so you are immediately disqualified from the competition. That's what we usually did in my cheer squad. I am sorry you got hurt but you do not come off that mat.
