Beach Fishing, Dogfish, whiting [Wexford Ireland]

Just a few hours down on a Wexford beach, Targeting Dogfish, Whiting and hoping for a early Cod.

Good video mate, looked very cold, I've caught the dogfish on the squid, they seem keen on it, me and my fishing mate caught a lot, almost every cast, (re-bait), on Strangford lough, was good. All the best. 🍻👍

Cheers buddy, yea I normally have a lot of Dogfish on squid and cod. Hopefully I'll get back out in the next week or so and try again. Tight lines buddy

On Strangford, we caught the red 'rock cod', on the lug worms, plenty of wrasse around also, we used to fish at ballyhornan, was good there, of the rocks, bit of a hike though lol. 🍻👍

Hahaha, usually can't get them off the hook. I did a spot of dogfishing in the 80s. Well done, good vid 👍

Cheers Keith, iv only had 10 over the winter this year. Nothing to big 5.3 lb the largest. I was talking to a few lads that live for cod fishing and they were the same only a handful of fish this year. Warmer weather and the large boats they say are to blame

@@mikeoutdoors22 I went to kilgorman strand last night wasn’t great , 1 small bass 😬 I said I’d bring my dad to do a bit of fishing Wednesday day time , any piers or beaches you would recommend to fish during daylight hours
