Hey rhys there's a good tackle shop in aldwick which you would have drove thru to get to Selsey just other side of bognor. Good selection and price. Blueys, mackrel, cuttlefish etc. Where you walked in littlehampton you can gather up some crabs with a drop net Real quick or boating lake for smootheys

Huss bruvva I'm with ya 100% mate selsey is my usual area and as tou know can and will throw up anything on its day including cod 😀 Also I 100% agree I've been getting my rigs from Gav atm and they are off the scale mate 👍 I've send him videos and pictures of exactly what I want and they are 💯 the best I've bought no question

the only thing frozen mackeral are good for is crab fishin, falls apart and sloppy on the hook

Does well for bass in the Thames Estuary, providing its still frozen when you cut the fillets off, or cut into cutlets. I usually use it paired up and whipped to squid with elastic.
