I actually thought the tide and conditions on this night might have shown the larger ones. Peeler crab will get them feeding so maybe a degree or 2 warmer. 🤔 Jasper has bounced back after his suspected poisoning and loves being out with me and trips in the van. He is well behaved but totally wired when out on the beach.

Hi mate nice video glad to see hounds are starting to show i was out last night for hounds and rays it looked colder down your way than it was my end it was quite warm even at half two in the morning i ended up with a small bass along with an undulate and a conger both pb,s in double figures it was funny the beach was deserted i was billy no mates toght lines mate

Nice to be busy rather than blanking bud. Fingers crossed for warmer days and bigger fish. Is it worth putting out a big tope bait the big girls be feeding on those hound pups won’t they ??

Apart from hitting anything they can I think the Tope are hitting the black bream atm. The females are full of roe and they are all territorial.

Things are definitely slow starting this year. There is a noticeable difference in the amount of undulates about and the hounds are slow in showing themselves. I’m sure things are on the edge of picking up. 🎣🎣🎣👍🏻

To be honest the braid has been on there a long time now and probably needs reversing. It is Berkeley Whiplash 8.

Not with these conditions but I suspect and expect a shorted one to fish better when they are feeding well and competing in a pack.

These are my old faithful Shimano Beastmasters loaded with braid. They are small for an 8000 size reel and well suited to a lighter beach rod.
