@@seaangling Sunday, fishing an hour and a half before low, whiting on fist cast within 5mins then nothing until 1pm first bass. Double shot of a whiting and pout an hour later and then it went mad. Seconds after throwing out the bait it was bite after bite. Had to leave at 5 as the mrs had made a roast but really had to tug myself away. Towards the end the bite were bending the rod big time but kept missing them. 10 fish of three species im more than happy this time of year.

Not a big fan of the neoprene reel covers. Ok for transportation of reels, but not storage. I discovered to my cost that if theres any trace of salt or moisture on the reels, corrosion soon sets in if they're left on for any time.

used to fish in front of the carpark off to your left around 25 years ago ......when there used to be flouder a plenty ! wasn't uncommon to get 2 or 3 fish over 2lb in a session. anyways great vid as always mark and nice to see the Itchen bridge miss walking over that on my way to the football.

@@constantinpopa2210 there are some goods spots on the opposite side (Woolston). Further along from under the bridge is a pub and the hovercraft slipway. That is excellent lure fishing at low tide cast towards the moorings. 😉🎣👍🏻

Not from the shoreline unless you intend catching migratory fish. General shore angling for bass, flounder etc is all free. If you have any unanswered questions check the Government website.

There was a decent chance of that and it isn’t normally like that. Because of COVID the sailing club hasn’t used it for so long it is now covered. It is usually clean.

They were a lot smoother but to be fare it was one bearing on one reel that was playing up. I changed all 6 on both reels with Abec 7’s.
