I love watching all your videos..I've been fishing for years and love to see the saltwater video.I live in ct.which isn't the same .i did like in texas- port aransas.and it had some of the best fishing anyware in gulf coast . i miss the warm ocean water down there .one day ill get back down south.till then i love your videos.i also like extremephillyfishing to.they make me want to fish with my kids a lot more.its a great way to get out.when you can anyways..keep up the good videos.

Edward, I live in South Texas and have been fishing the surf past couple weeks, it has been amazing! I think the tropical storm that came through and went to Louisiana recently, brought some big fish with it. My wife and I stayed out at Surfside Beach till almost 4 am this past weekend on Saturday night, we hadn't done that in a long time, but we had a blast! Hopefully you can get back for some good fishing! Stay safe up there!

awesome video. can be frustrating to have the bait getting picked off too easily but having the bait out there for a long time can cause problems: one problem i had when surfcasting in rough conditions was that my sinker got really buried in the sand after being left out there for a long period so i bait up every 15 - 20mins to avoid that problem

its a finger stool. alternative use a small section of bike inner tube. its to protect the line digging in to your finger during casting.

I'm not a big fan of bait casters but just pick a moderately sized reel that is rated for saltwater. If its rated for saltwater it will stand up to anything that freshwater can throw at it. Don't break the bank either, its not necessary. A truly successful match fisherman will tell you they end up selling all their 400-800 dollar reels and end up using something around the 80 dollar range with a good rod.

your bait tips are so true great point for people to use i use it the same way with prawn and squid cause as soon as the prawn hits the waters in australia its crazy feeding time so i use the squid to hold time lines on the hook up rate nice fish you caught and those glass beads are a must also the sound it makes they cannot resist its funny you cannot buy fish bites here pitty but most fish in australia will only eat squid or prawn or pilchard

No salt water fishing where I live. Fresh water only. Mostly trout of different species. Cat fish and carp if I'm lucky. The odd bass now and then. So your bait prolly wont work for me.

We have never tried for carp with the bait, but the squid works as a super effective weedless setup or as a trailer. We have a couple episodes catching bass on it that way. Depends on how you like to fish! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
