Roger, another good video. My wife out fishes me regularly. She reckons her toe nail polish acts as a lure. I thought your wife was your cameraman/person/woman but that's obviously not true. After a few days I start to have withdrawals waiting for your next video. Nothing like sand and surf around your feet! If you did a video with no bites and no fish the view would be enough.

Hello Roger always love watching your vids and am learning fom them. If I might share an observation...... you seem to be switching the rod between your hands.... so mething I learned years ago.... hold the rod in yout dominant hand and wind with your other hand. In other words try putting your reel handle on the left side and use your left hand to wind. You will hardly have to swap hands. Tight lines.

Hi Roger, me and the wife love watching you fish. Would love more videos on rough water and how you know how to identify good spots to fish. It’s all well and good when there’s one wave lapping at the shore but it gets a lot trickier (at least for us) with wild waves which seem to always be going, up here in northern NSW. Merry Christmas

Family fishing ❤. My wife is also my fishing partner 😂. Hey Roger, how do you get on after a fish, like cleaning the reel, soaking in fresh water, cleaning hooks, safety with pets. I'm a Rhodesian (Now Zimbabwe) in NZ and not too familiar with coastal beach fishing. I'm very familiar with tiger fish on Lake Kariba and the Zambezi river though. I'm adicted to your advisory video clips 😊

I noticed that you are using a ball sinker in this video while using a pyramid sinker in another (how to rig pilchard), while both were rigged in a sliding way. Any reason you picked ball sinker in this one? I would have thought when water is rough, using a pyramid sinker would hold the position better.

Starting fishing a couple months ago along with your video. Quick question about whiting, on the NSW website, only sand whiting got legal limits of 27cm. So some different whiting no limit. Can you please explain what’s the difference? Thank you very much.
