In my opinion :) I think the song describes a depressive episode where the writer is mourning over a heartbreak or lost love. The relationship seems to have had a very huge impact on the writer, as they try to assure themselves that one day all the sad memories will fade and disappear. The lyrics " where you go, she casts no shadow " , suggest that the writer's love interest is gone from his/her life forever and that there is now no more trace of their excistance. However the lyrics " still you know she's near " , suggest that although he/she is gone a part of them stayed with the the writer, so much so that it is as if he/she is still present in their life. The instrumentals of the song change up a bit suggesting the writer experiences a vision or dream like occurance in which their love interest appear to them almost with a starry radiance suggesting beauty, positivity and happiness , contradictorily however they also appear with a dark cloud above them, introducing a perhaps darker side they might have had, although portrayed as perfect prior. The lyrics " lie , lie " present to us the truth of the state of the relationship indicating that although it seemed like the ideal relationship it was all a false representation and that they lived in a distorted reality and that their seemingly fairytale portrayal was doomed, shown with the lyrics " house made of the dawn disappears " . The writer seems to snap out of the illusion, and the instrumentals momentarily halt and this realisation happens at 10:37. The writer then tries to assure themselves that they should just accept that it was all a lie and that they should come to terms with the fact that it is over .

There are 1440 minutes in a day. There is a 1/1440 chance you will see that on your clock. Assuming you've seen 10:37 on the clock 3 times would be (1/1440)^3. That's a 1/2,985,984,000 chance. That means for every 2,985,984,000 people 1 person will just *happen* to see 10:37 on the clock 3 times. Yep... beginning to look like a miracle.

When my best friends sister passed, I was emergency called by her family to watch their dogs while they went and got emotional help. I was alone with their animals, sitting in silence, not knowing how my friend died until 4 am. I had a feeling to put music on after three hours-and I felt drawn to look up beach house, and that morning was the first time I heard this song. On 11/11/19 one of my best friends died in a car accident around 10:00 on the same street and area my brother died of an overdose on. I screenshot the song that morning when I heard the lyrics because I thought it was her comforting me with some information about what happened to her. I can only hope you hold your loved ones closer than your grudges.

My old girlfriend and me had nothing in common, besides playing soccer and liking That 70’s show, but other than that. Nothing. I’m bad in school, she’s good, I don’t know where I’m going in life, she wants to leave state for school. But whatever She was awesome In so many ways. But towards the last 2 months The of our 20 month relationship, we both drifted away from each other. And everytime we hung out, it just didn’t feel right. So on December 5th I broke up with her. If pained my heart so much and I never thought I’d get over it. But I did quickly, which is shitty, but whatever. Then me and this girl named Katie started to talk more and hangout way more. I’ve known her for 2 years and we’ve been pals for a while. But the last 2 months we’ve been hanging a lot more and we have been talking through my breakup, it’s been nice, we both have gotten to know each other a lot more and have become super close. We have just about everything in common, she smokes like I do, we both dress like bums with the ripped jeans and whatever, she listens to the same music. Anyways. She’s my girlfriend now and it’s honestly been the best thing to happen to me, everytime we are together I feel all tingly and it just feels right, everything about it feels good. Then I kiss her for the first time and this song was playing. It was the greatest feeling ever. That’s my story, nobody will read it. But I just wanted to ramble to you guys cause all of you are cool as fuck. Goodbye

The beginning feels a lot like 'In the Air Tonight'! Also, quite some time ago, this song played in a nightmare I had where I was driving down a desolate, smoke-filled road. Pretty sure nuclear war had happened. Since then, I often see this number, sometimes on a daily basis. Turns out this is an angel number, of the many angel numbers. I feel it's a sign, not necessarily bad, but... a sign. I was also convinced by a friend that it's "programmed" into my brain because I've recognized it so much. Anything is possible. Nevertheless, the song brings out a ton of emotions the same day as I first heard it.
