I'm going to state the obvious here, but the fact that they divided this album in 4 chapters makes all so much more enjoyable. I had enough (never enough) time to play each chapter over and over and over again and really get to hear all the little details in each song. It's now starting to take a unified shape that's better and fresher than all of it's parts. I can't wait for this third release!

Aside from the glorious, long-awaited Shoegaze-explosion that is "Only You Know", this chapter turned out to be surprisingly reminiscent of Depression Cherry. "Sunset", "Another Go Around" and "Illusion of Forever" have an almost religious vibe of pure light and love to them to a point where the latter actually made me tear up with just how warm and reassuring it is. "And I can't believe in nothing just yet. I didn't know how much I needed that right now. Thank you Beach House. As always.❤️

What I LOVE about CHAPTER 3: Sunset: this is a beautifully written POV. You are in a field full of wildflowers. It’s the golden hour, the sunset illuminates the sky. It’s a moment of peace, you’re far from the city and from your thoughts and problems. You observe the animals, and the clothing swaying in the breeze. In this very moment, just existing is enough, but it’s more than that… it’s actually marvellous. And you think that your existence is possibile because of the sun. That golden star is the key that ties everything, that makes you - and the birds, the flowers and even the clothes swinging - possible. Only you know: this feels like summer love/friendship to me. Intense. Like a daydream. But fleeting. One day, it’s there and it’s poetic and passionate, but then you blink and it’s gone. That’s why she doesn’t want to blink, she doesn’t want it to disappear. “Where do all the friends go when the fantasies die?” Another go around: delicate and warm. Comforting. A cozy blanket. I would drink this song with my golden hour tea. Masquerade: dream goth. I love the imagery. Best listened to in a gothic castle, waiting for a midnight ball in the hall of mirrors. Illusion of forever: “Diamonds down her back, sunshine in her lap, centuries of light, rubies in her hair, moonlight in her stare” I think she’s describing different kind of stars here. Red stars with the imagery of rubies, white stars with diamonds, moonlight is for blue stars and sunshine for yellow ones. Their light takes 10-15 billion years to reach Earth, so every each of them bring “centuries of light”.

Beach House is a heavy hitter with this one. Even if the rest of the album is not as good, I’d still say it’s my favorite album in awhile. Part 1 and 2 have cemented itself really hard on the radar of my daily rotation of music. Other people in this group have already said much of how this album makes me feel. I’d dare to say if the following parts that haven’t been released hold up to the vibe and tempo of the first half, it could very easily find its way to one of the greatest albums of all time.. imo

This album cycle has been particularly meaningful to experience. The songs each seem to tell their own story. The 'fairytale' concept really fits, from the sonic landscape, to the artwork/visuals, and the framing of chapters. Beach House tapped into something really creative here, that's been true for every chapter, and I expect it will remain true for the last. I don't think I'll ever forget being able to absorb OTM slowly over the course of four months, and it will always remind me of this period in my life.

im going to be honset ive been a hardcore fan of beach since 2010 i listened to every album from their 2006 self titled to their 7 album thousands of times and each time i listen to a single song i get the beach house chills there is not one song i hate from these albums not one maybe i have a least favourite but even the least favourite is Beautiful until one twice melody now we are into the 3 chapters and with all do respect this is an opinion of an admirer of beach house once twice melody was a let down ive only liked 4 songs from the 13 and when i heard the 9 others songs i knew there is something wrong i dont get the beach house goosebumps !! i pray that the last chapter gives me nostalgia of victoria and scallys bloom and teen dream and dpc this is my only wish if you disagree with me thats fine but dont come after me , everyones opinions differs even if you dont appreciate it respect it and you will get the respect back much love to victora and scally for giving us beach house im sad and happy in the same time sad because of the 9 songs that i didnt feel the beach house beautiful melodies and one of a kind songs but im happy that they gave us 7 most beautiful albums much love a big fan and an admirer .

@@isaiahromero9861 it doesnt feel Right If you know what I mean it doesnt feel like this is beach house until Victoria sings but I have to be honest I've listened to the first and second chapter maybe 20 times I didnt like the songs except superstar and through me was magical these two tracks I said ok this is The True unique Beach house then I've listened to pink funeral pardon me but that song is Horrible to me I dont get why The hardcore fans like it ok different tastes I understand that but then chapter 2 released and I've binged it like i said 20 or even more times I tried to like but it was the most disappointing chapter for me because out of the four song I didnt like one except over and over then comes chapter 3 and like i expected also disappointing so far this album ruined my There is no song that beach house made is bad until OTM . I Just hope that chapter four with the 5 tracks would be magical I pray .

This chapter slightly of gothic or so-called religious vibes, and it's so lovely. Personnally I want more song like Illusion of Forever, since it's my fav track on this chapter (I'm gonna tears everytime she's saying "Alwaysssss") Honestly, its quite difficult to choose which the best chapter so far yet coz the first three was really fascinating. Cant wait for the last!
