Thanks for the comment... I do like detecting the beaches better even though we have had some pretty awesome park finds. Right now waiting for the oil cleanup along our coast. As for including C in the vids... I agree. I only solo when she has to work a lot. Cheers

Nice finds today! Interesting to watch the 2 different machines in action. I believe the Apex was created to compete with the 540. the Apex is Garrett's first multi frequency machine. Thanks for the video. Mike@ GR8 Finds 🙂

Thanks mike. I am getting more and more practice with the Apex. I kinda like it but still go back and forth with it and the NOX. Christine really likes the 540. She just complains that it doesn't work right...It doesn't find good stuff...lol

Hey, we were there the day after Labor Day! Some detector told me many already came Monday evening no scanned the whole area, found so much foils and bottle caps, I use a Garrett 400 and the carrot , I’m barely starting, I wanted to know your option on what you recio end , either that new garret one you have or the equinox, , I’d like to scan the shore and found mine is pretty tough on the lowest setting, me and my sister live about an hour away so we’ll probably go often

My favorite is the Equinox 800 but that Nee Garrett Apex is growing on me. I fell both do the job but the 800 is slightly better. They do make a 600 that is a bit cheaper

OK, so so weird now. The other day (I think it was last Saturday) I too found a crystal. Mine was just laying in the middle of the road when I got out of the truck at my first tot lot dig in Evansville. We are finding so much of the same stuff, its uncanny!

Thank you.... I am really starting to like it... one plus is the fact that it is light... It is easier to swing than the NOX even with the carbon fiber shaft on the NOX. I am starting to learn the numbers but I try and listen more than look.

I don't know if you do this but, when you find a cell phone, either in the water or dry, pull the case off. Sometimes folks will stash cash or credit cards. That would make it easier to return. The cash well that is a different story.
