Beach restoration underway in Flagler Beach

A dune renourishment project nearly 14 years in the making in Flagler County is officially underway. The Army Corps of Engineers will start dredging sand this week to restore three miles of dunes.

We have been trying this and it just gets washed away even with regular storms. While we are still paying the 7 millon back as taxpayers that sand will be long gone.
