Join me on a short walk along some of the beaches close to the south area of Okinawa Island where I live. Sometimes a walk on the beach can be a soothing thing in todays hustle and bustle. I also share some of my photography along the way.

What a great video. I will forever be grateful for my time on Okinawa. It is such a magical place. We explored as much as we could while there and I have countless memories on those beautiful beaches. Thank you for sharing!

I always enjoyed walking the beaches back in Aug 1974 to Sep 1975. I was stationed at Camp Foster. Thanks for your videos.

7:05, what you found is a Hebrew Cone! They get to some pretty big sizes in comparison to the bulk of small ones that we find on the island. I've read that when alive they can sting and cause some pain, but nothing serious or life threatening.

Hey cheers for the info. I live and learn. First thing I always do is check for the occupants. I know Cone shells can be very dangerous depending on the species.

Loved the video mate. Could be wrong but I think the black and white one is a small coneshell species Conus ebraeus. We get them occasionally in North Queensland. We found many coneshells of several species around Onna.

Cheers mate, good to be back. Just trying something different as it seemed the channel was just bogging down with the photography slant. I do more than that so trying to add a little deviation from the norm.

My wife also wears Bikini's, in Summer. Having lived here now for around 9years she doesn't go in the water between November and May unless she has a Walrus amount of neoprene around her...
