Manta Rays and Mountainous Peaks are the order of the day for this video from my recent family trek to just a few of the stunning islands found within French Polynesia. Maupiti is now as Bora Bora was some 30years ago. No mass tourism, no major hotel chains and no gaudy tourist souvenir shops. And the locals aim to keep it that way.
Join us in this adventure to see how stunning a small island can be when all it offers are pension accommodation options and a local community who have gotten to grips with providing an excellent experience to the few travelers who bite the bullet and stray from the standard fare within this region.
