I would have run for that owl figure too, looked good and then...doh! The beach we go to in North Carolina is experiencing that kind of erosion, the bottom of the island is dropping into the Atlantic. It used to stretch out for a mile or more at that point. Loved the bits you two found, the relay is an old flash cube from a 110 camera, circa 70s through 80s maybe. Have a wonderful week Kerri and Connor!

Hoping to find the head of the owl soon to finish it off its got to be somewhere down there! Im guessing with the sea level rising all round the world were going to get a lot more erosion :( interesting about the camera flasher what a strange find hope you have a lovely week too julianne 🙂

I'm old enough to remember those camera flashcubes! But not to remember doses in sealed glass ampoules. Like you, I wonder if they were military issue. Marmite jar was my favourite find this week, but the headless owl was wonderfully random, and that huge lump of coal was a turn up too. Have a good week.

Im sort of old enough to remember those flashes haha, those glass ampoules were a cool find glad i found out what they are and kept hold of them, will do a little video on them soon as they are rather interesting! As for the coal i save up the smaller chunks for my grandads fire but keep the larger chunks as its suppose to be good luck finding a big chunk of coal on the beach! You found some really wonderful things sea glass (my favorite), jars 🫙, driftwood, bellamite,? spelling wrong sorry 😞. It was fun to watch! I was curious as to how many homes were lost above the beach on the cliff? That looked bad I hope nobody was in them when they fell. Was it a bad storm that caused it? Hi Susan hope your keeping well spot on with bellamnite 😊 approximately 30+ homes lost to the sea over the years along that stretch, 😢 a slight blow causes damage to the local beaches as they are so flat :( and have no protection thanks for watching and we shall see you next weekend hope you have a lovely week ❤ take care x
