This past winter I tried to read Submerged and also DNFed it. The premise looked so good, but oh was it confusing. I was listening to the audiobook and I NEVER knew whose POV I was in! It also just ended up having way more angst than I prefer.

Great Vlog! I have never seen Northanger Abby, but have wondered if it is as good as the other Jane Austin movies.

Thank you!!! I love it but it does have a couple risqué moments. There's a UK version, which is the full version, and the US version which is missing 10 minutes. The US version cut out the most inappropriate scene, which is nice, but it also cut out a super important part and the movie is not the same without it. It also cut out bits of conversation here and there, which just made the whole movie feel different. So I prefer the UK version overall. Emma is still my favorite movie 🥰

Oh I’m sad you didn’t enjoy Offsides. I read it back in August and really really enjoyed it! The short chapters definitely took me back to some books I read when I was younger. 🤣

If you want something clean and funny, I highly recommend Crime and Poetry by Amanda Flower! I listened to the audiobook and literally laughed out loud multiple times 😊

🎉fun vlog! Yeah i technically dnf'd Submerged last year! High five!😂skimmed and skimmed a ton. Too many characters, i liked the brother and sister moments but didn't care for Bailey or their romance. Didn't like her past rememberings or those cops or the townsppl. Bleghhhh. I even hated the mystery with the russian stuff. Boring!! I wanted the story to be on her aunt, wanted her to survive. And LOL nothing had happened in all those chapters of Offsides?? Lame!😂 Great video! ❤
