Even then, I'm a great believer in watching people grow as they get better at doing something 😊 It's fun to grow with people. We all get to be part of making something beautiful happen together. I also keep seeing people's worries on copyright. Is there any way to get permission from the owners before you read them? Like if it was an indie author or something? It would narrow the selection down, but there are also some books that are public domain, right? Like the bible or... some classics? Where there's a will, there's a way 😤 I'd just like to hear it. One hundred percent about reading/BookTube not being a contest. I don't think any BookTuber consciously tries to project that it's a contest - I think we put that pressure on ourselves when we hear someone say "I read xyz number of books". But we shouldn't! Everybody reads at their own pace and nothing wrong with that!

I think this is a great idea, but i think you will run into copyright issues because YT is really strict about that. It's one thing to quote a short passage but reading an entire book or even entire chapters might get you flagged or your content deleted. For myself, i probably would not tune in but only because i prefer to read myself what i want at my own pace. I honestly get really impatient listening to other people read. 🤣

I have to say I greatly appreciate your videos and book recs it’s so refreshing to find someone who reads really amazing books and series that are not boring and most importantly are clean! I’ll be recommending your videos to lots of my friends, we all have littles and love literature as first generation Christian’s we have had our work cut out for us trying to safely find ways to love reading!
