Another's question. No kites on lake George?

I only seen one kiter out when I was there. The problem is if the kite drops in the water, the weeds would make it very difficult to get the lines out!!!

How consistent is the wind that time of year?

Not exactly sure of the numbers but some guys sail about 10 out of 13 days which is pretty consistent.
