Great project! Thank you. I put one bead in the corners on the last round and a metal bell inside. When I sewed the sides together I circled the three beads at the corners then continued to sew the side edges. I've been working on this for mmaannyy hours and still have eight more final attachments to do before I can play with it...probably the only one I will ever make; but I am glad I did. Thanks for sharing.

Proper half hitch knots you only put the thread through the loop once and continue to weave in two different directions then another half hitch knot. Repeat at least 3 times. Never tie regular knots in beading. The reasoning behind it is so you don’t have unsightly knots or block any of your beads so later you won’t be able to get your needle through for following beading such as embellishments. Are the bead sizes criticality important?

You could use bigger or smaller beads but they need to be delica beads for it to work and the round seed beads need to be one size smaller than the main beads you use
