I used Miyuki Chartreuse Picasso and 3 mm Preciosa czech crystals and had to add 1 15 mm seed bead on each end of the crystal in order for the thread not to show

Evidently it matters which way the crystals are slanted in order to get the "v" in the front, ugh

Because the two sides are symmetrical, it forms the letter V.
