G'Day my Wonderful friend, A different slant on your regular videos and although I'm not into wire and I'm not very good with doing things with wire and jump rings that are used in designs (mine always seem to turn out like something that you would find at the scrape metal yard....just a big pile of knotted and twisted bits and pieces) but I did enjoy watching you do this great piece of work. Loved the coloured one and it would look great if you attached a name plate in the middle of a bracelet. I am always amazed at the talent you have at doing designs in wire.... they are fantastic!!!! I am poised at the moment as I am nearing the end of My first bead Embroidery design......It's big and has taken some time to finish it. The second one is a little bit behind but I hope to finish within the week.....hopefully!!! This is the form of beading that I love the most...you just go where the beads take you and I find that it has so much freedom to play around with. Thanks for this wonderful video and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for your next one. So from me on this rather cold and soon to be rainy afternoon many Blessings.....XXXOOOO

Hello.This is a great video, I enjoyed watching it. I would like to try the green bracelet with the pink and the purple but I don't have audio and I don't know what size ring did you use on that bracelet. Thank you, thank you.

LOL. So easy to do with colored rings, but 3.1mm same color? AUGH! Thanks for the tutorial. Still good in November 2018.

Enjoyed your video! Do you make your own jump rings or not? I make my own jump rings, I have had a problem with putting the rings together, I see what my problem is, I'm not placing the rings in the correct direction. Thanks for sharing this video

Hi Larry, I'm glad I was able to help! I don't usually make my own jump rings for maille -- I tend to just make them on an "as needed" basis for something that is an unusual size. :)

Great Tutorial but need some work on giving the Ga. as well as the size of the rings, Newbee's have not learned the AR yet and others don't comprehend what the AR is.

What inner diameter and wire size do you recommend when I have learned how to do it? In metric, please!!! :) Thanks for a great tutorial.
@beadedjewelrydiva

Hi Karine, I personally like 18 gauge, 3.0 inner diameter. If you want it chunkier, 16 gauge and 4mm inside diameter (all are AWG gauges).

I really enjoyed this video, thanks for putting it on KZbin! I was actually wondering where you got your pliers, because they seem to be coated in nylon and I can't find those anywhere. Thanks!

Hi Jess, I tend to get my pliers on Amazon, but the "nylon" is actually something called "Tool Magic". It's pretty easy to find at Michael's or Joann's (and online). I have a video on how to use it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3TShmicgLJlqtE

I want to learn this , but get lost quick, I need lots of help
@beadedjewelrydiva
@beadedjewelrydiva 7 жыл бұрын
Hi Nadia -- this is one of the more advanced weaves, because of the tight AR. One way that may help is to pause the video on steps where you're starting to lose the pattern, so you can compare your chain to what is on the screen. (That's how I had to learn, some years ago.) Best wishes! :)
