I wasn't able to get them to be secure. Either ways it was coming off with a tight pull . I tried with different gauge wires also.

I made this and my dog jumped up on me when I got home and pulled it right off. I'll have to find a way to make one that is big dog proof. 🤣😆

Why not use eye pins and make a loop on the other side of the pearl? I think a good tug by a child on that necklace would pull that wire out of a pearl.
@belledejour9766 Жыл бұрын
Hahaha, because it is pearl link chain necklace WITHOUT LOOP. The purpose of this technique is a completely different aesthetic compared to the usual, well-known chain link. Predicting that it will tear easily is nonsense. You'd have to cut the chain.
@carlystone599411 ай бұрын
No, it doesn't slip through with tugging as the wire and tight fit keeps it in there. Remember, wire hardens with tugging and also it's crisscrossed in there. When you stop and think about it, with wire wrapping, the ends are usually not secured more than tucking them in , in many wire projects

The whole idea is to make it look streamlined and seamless. ❤

How is it finished, to connect it?
@sunflower679427 ай бұрын
@@carlystone5994 Yes, you are right. My loop eye pin beads are easily tugged apart. I am using this wire in future.

the holes in my pearls are wayyyyy too tiny for this :(
@chargerchick4u6 ай бұрын
Ridiculous !! I did give it the benefit of the doubt and yep, one tiny tug and it's undone...I tried different sized wires even.. stupid waste of time as I suspected !!!

That’s too bad. I haven’t had an issue using between 22-26 size wire.
@carlystone5994Ай бұрын
@ikeakarose yes, I have had it work also. But also, the hole of the bead can't be too large either. Also, a harder temper wire might help
