I like that you showed the problems we will have when making this. If you hadn't we may have thought we did something wrong. And gave up. But now we know to expect some issues. Thank you

Great instructions. I haven’t done any chainmaille for quite a few years. Silver got too expensive for me. I think I might try some aluminum rings to start back to practice.

I don't have AWG wires so I used 1mm wire diameter rings with 3,5mm and 6,5mm inner diameters. I have failed. I had to lower the larger ring's inner diameter down to 6mm.

how this ring are so shiny ı was bought some steel and copper wire and they were all matte are you guys making someting about that or they were shiny when you buy
@beaducation5 жыл бұрын
These rings are sterling silver. They are tumbled, which work hardens and polishes them.

@@beaducation thx and do you know how can ı avoid my ring to being rust or blackout
@beaducation5 жыл бұрын
I am not sure what your rings are made of. Most metals will tarnish over time. You can polish them with a pro polish or throw your pieces in the tumbler. As for prevention, you can take a look at this video. Link below www.beaducation.com/online_classes/231-metal-coatings-and-sealants-facebook-live-episode-27
