To become a GP in Ireland, medical graduates apply for the 4-year GP Training Programme run by the Irish College of General Practitioners. For the 2024 intake, there are some changes this year to the application process. It will be in 2 parts, and opening on 2nd October next.
Dr Ronan O'Connell is a Regional Training Director with the Irish College of General Practitioners, and he explains the changes in this video.
