Ya know Geoff, with the "Well" and the "Lake/Pond", You could get a small pump a few hoses and a few sprinkler heads, and run those every day for a couple hours and really get that grass to jump for ya ?? just a thought.... And I don't think it would even lower the "Lake/Pond" much, or any at all ?? And if it did, you have the well to pump some back in it, or wait for the winter rains. Sure you may have already thought of this?? But, was just thinking if ya wanted to thickin' it up some while we are still getting some Warm/Hot days... Have a Great Day Man !!

That's some real cash crop dirt if not even any weeds sprout after more than a year, usually here we seemed grass seed just to insure grass grows first, else you get weeds with stems as thick as corn

Like others, I think that taking some water out of the well or pond would help the grass. You don't need much pressure but you do want volume. As for 3 phase power. If you find a need for it for running a motor such as a drill press or a lathe would use, you can buy units that convert single phase to 3 phase. If you wanted to have an adjustable speed water pump, one of these units would do the trick. They are great because then you can adjust the speed of the motor to suit your work. And it costs a fortune to get the power companies to run 3 phase in an area where it isn't already.

I had a friend who decided to do the wiring on his new workshop himself to save money. So put a large 240 volt sub panel in and wired it up with all the breakers switched on. Have you thought of watering that big area above the dock? My first thought was rent a pump to draw from the lake and just run hose to the top of the hill and flood it for an hour but then remembered you had the solar well set up. So why not? Once a week would be better than our drought conditions. Just brain storming here Geoff. And maybe overseeding it this fall before the snow flies with perennial grass seed on the dam especially.

As someone said to you a while back, yes, you can cut the grass (on the back of the dam) now, but keep the cut height as high as the machine has.....that gives less stressed grass, and more lush. The rest of the grass might not require cutting until spring......maybe.

Geoff the rye grass looks good, it needs watering. Now we have to wait and see if the fescue grows. Remember Bermuda grass even grows on asphalt, and it loves hot dry temperatures. In Oklahoma in the red clay where there is no topsoil, because it all blew away in the dust bowl, Bermuda thrives. One thing about Bermuda grass the rhizomes will run across the asphalt and forms a mat that traps dust and builds topsoil. It also is a very good grass to stop erosion. You want to see Bermuda grass growing and how it covers paving, watch SB mowing on KZbin . So Geoff when do we see the footings poured on your mansion build, with the man cave bunker for all your hunting equipment and the nuclear sound proof blast doors and 5 years of emergency food store room?😂😂
