In regards to the Trypillian people, I am currently studying them in my ancient history and archaeology class at university, the reason they would burn their houses down so frequently was due to the fact that their houses were not made of the sturdiest of materials (made almost entirely of mud/ soil which was dried into bricks, with a sort of thatched roof, and lime plaster used on the outside for extra protection against the elements) however it is believed that due to the weak structure, over time elements such as rain, wind and even insects would leave the buildings vulnerable. The house would sooner or later need to be replaced, causing the Trypillian inhabitants to burn down their homes, afterwards this will leave formations of ‘tells’ (or small hills) which the next generation will build on, making each house a couple feet higher than the last. If you wish to learn more about this I suggest reading ‘Gates, C, 2011: Ancient Cities: the archaeology of urban life in the ancient Near East and Egypt, Greece, and Rome’ pages 5-6

Quite an interesting video. It's true that we often think of China as a huge country but ignore the different smaller civilizations that were homogenized into the current one.
@MikeP2055

True, but that also applies to . . . almost everywhere. And that's still the case! Look at India. Different cultures all over the damn place! Wales, where my people come from, was a loose collection of fairly disparate villages until invading armies forced them into cohesion as a larger group.

Keep in mind that only 20% of the ocean has been explored,so just imagine what other lost civilizations or unknown wonders could be hiding down there (No,i'm not talking about the Megalodon LOL,that guy is long dead). Atlantis was what is now the Azores, given the location told to Plato. The Azores are on the junction of the North American, European and African tectonic plates. The time given for its sinking corresponds to the melting of America's vast Ice Sheets. W out the weight of the Ice , America rose causing Atlantis to sink. There are fossil beaches and coral beds dated to just before that time now 1/2 miles, 1 km underwater..... If you don't mind 2 hr. videos search Randall Carlson Atlantis. It's the Kosmographia podcast on The Randal Carlson channel. KZbin needs the The for some reason, in searches for channels.

If you don't mind 2 hour videos, search Randall Carlson Atlantis. In a nutshell, Atlantis = todays Azores, Plato's location. They set on the junction of the N American, European and African tectonic plates. When N America's Ice Sheets melted, N America went up because the weight was gone, and Atlantis went down. Its sinking time corresponds perfectly w the ice melting. Fossil beaches and coral beds from that time are now 1/2 mile , 1 km underwater.

For the star Close to Sirius.B maybe it was there but may have died out a long time before and the light completed its journey past earth in the middle of both eras. Some stars you see in the night sky might actually no longer exist but because of the distance the photons of light are still traveling. I hope this helps 😊

Hell the Longyou Caves were featured on History's Ancient Aliens and the guys who believed in that actually theorized that they had the help of some visitors who were not of this world. I mean, Look at how perfectly square those pillars and perfectly straight the walls and how perfect all those angles are. You COULD NOT get angles THAT straight without the use of alien technology like power saws and chisels which are common tools that we have today that weren't so common back when the caves were carved out. So we might have been visited by aliens in the past and we may not have realized it. Really interesting theory if you take the time to mull it over in your heads and one that wouldn't be impossible to see judging by all those perfect angles. If me and my parents decided to go to China (despite all of its draconian spying systems), the Longyou Caves will DEFINITELY be one of the places I want to check out in person as those caves would be SO COOL to see!!!!

The Dogon Trible baffled me about their intricate knowledge of the Sirius stars. Just because we people of modern society have more information. It doesn't mean we know everything. What worse that it's easy to be skeptical than being open-minded about the possibility. Although I don't know what make about the Dogon Tribe supposed contact with some unknown race that give them the knowledge about Sirius. We can't just easily dismissed this since some hardly ancient tribal folks ever lies their folklore.

@@bryanmiller383The secrecy is perplexing . I can't figure the reason other than maintaining the status quo knee jerk reaction. However, there are over 400 newspaper articles about discovering giants. Often they turn to dust after air exposure. The ones that didn't were sent to the Smithsonian and, bye, bye. Check out Why Files channel episode on the topic. Two Sarcophagi that were found were sent there. Freedom of Information request got a "We lost them" answer. They were huge. Another Freedom of Information request was delayed over a decade, then they said " We finally found what you requested, but the warehouse is contaminated w asbestos." Then there's the Egyptian temple in the Grand Canyon whos objects were sent there than disappeared. Someone figured where it was from the old newspaper article about the find. Its off limits. If you go anywhere near it , planes immediately show up.

"But at a later time there occurred portentous earthquakes and floods, [25d] and one grievous day and night befell them, when the whole body of your warriors was swallowed up by the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner was swallowed up by the sea and vanished; wherefore also the ocean at that spot has now become impassable and unsearchable, being blocked up by the shoal mud which the island created as it settled down.” That meant at the time it was swallowed up by the sea and that it is under water. It is just not very deep so ships can't search the area. However, it doesn't matter, as Atlantis is clearly fictional.

As a Muslim who reads the Qur'an, I come across stories of past civilizations such as Prophet Sulaiman's kingdom, the Ad and Thamud civilizations, some of whom hue out dwellings in rocks. They were described as very strong and sophisticated yet even Allah reminds that civilizations before theirs were stronger and more sophisticated but they were made to no longer exist due to their vast corruption of the earth. Also mentioned was the Gog and the Magog civilization, they were completely sealed off from the rest of humanity till later in the future when they will be released. They are said to still exist and are trying so hard on daily basis to break their barriers so they can unleash their terror on the rest of humanity. These stories in the Qur'an may seem like fairy tales but with this video, I am having second thoughts.

How did the Mycenaeans disappear? It would be pretty much the same way that first civilization you talked at the start of this very video did: Disease then surrounding groups either absorbed or exterminated what was left. Pretty much the same way it could of happened to the Casarabe. As for the Casarabe, you mention the Conquistadors as a possibility but they only got to the South American continent at the beginning of the 16th century, a full 100 years AFTER their estimated disappearance in the 15th century. There's a high probability that what the Conquistador encountered where whoever had moved in AFTER the Casarabe had died off.

It must be something we dont know from the past because what those Ancient people did is just unbelievable maybe they were more smart and knew more but we have technology but not as smart

I am a believer In the structure being Atlantis. It's actually a FASCINATING subject for anyone with an open mind. It opens into a rabbit hole that connects Egypt, the younger dryad(?) The great floods. Etc. Even if it isn't true I'm using it in my D&D world lol

I like to think Atlantis is real. It’s exciting to think of an advantaged society that existed prior to known ones.

You should never use a boat or vehicle as comparison to scale as it has a lot of empty space in it. so therefore looks bigger than, it would be as a lump of solid stone or metal.

Consider this, our ancestors lived out in the wild for multiple centuries, and survived well over 40-50 years until meeting their demise. Throw one of us out there, we'd be done for in less than 3 days given some manage to burn water, rely too heavily on technology, navigation, you name it, and the super markets to get our resources

Ancient human civilizations, as a pin on the map of time, is so recent, much older civilizations of humanoid species had come and gone long before we humans were smart enough to be self-aware. IMO after so much research, many ancient structures left behind that look too advanced for ancient humans to create. For example Puma Punku in Tiwanaku, La Paz, Bolivia. I theorize that many other ancient civilization have come and gone long before humans walked the earth.

Nice vid 👍. I think it’s though that the Romans didn’t work with those huge stones, they just didn’t have the technologies. It is probable that there was an even more ancient civilization who worked with those rocks (no one really knows much about them or how they did it), and built a kind of wall. When the Romans came conquering Lebanon, there’s a good chance that they just decided to build a temple to Jupiter on top. There are many mysterious ancient civilizations that built colossal constructions and than disappeared randomly (almost nothing is known about them or maybe it’s just that almost nothing was revealed) and then later more recent civilizations like the Romans came and added to them. Another example is the sphinx; hoy can se trata te body si much older and more decayed than the head, which is smaller and looking newer, probably just added by the Egyptians. It’s at theory that hasn’t really been proved but I think it’s interesting and very probable. Btw this channel is great, really loving it 😁😜👍
