That last one was pretty spot on. One accident happens, everyone’s slowing down, except the driver looking at his phone or something stupid and now there’s fatalities involved. Now the emergency response in some cases can’t access the first accident because the second more severe accident takes priority and is in the way

Re-watching this clip, it really was a beautifully staged crash! I love the multi-level anarchy! It must have taken a long time to set up all the different vehicles for this one. Each impact looks perfect, nothing glitching or odd about them. Set it to 360p and it looks like a real life recording.

This exact same scenario happens often. You're driving down the road, and the car in front of you changes lanes to avoid a stalled car. You are driving right behind them, and there is no time to stop to avoid hitting the stalled car that you couldn't see.

This happened to me recently. It's way worse when the car in front of you doesn't bother trying to slow down, and just changes lanes all of a sudden. You don't even have to be tailgating to end up a victim.

He's using scripts. Meaning he places each vehicle individually then manually sets a path for them to follow. It makes it much easier to replay each scenario to get the perfect clip, like shooting a scene for a movie. Hopefully the regular AI will be able to act like this one day.

As someone who drives a lot on the Freeway and inner city for work, all of these were very realistic...good job. For Fuck's sake, please don't cross 3+ lanes of traffic because you want to get off the freeway and your just too much in a Hurry to go ahead and catch the next exit...and for fuck sake get in the right lane...See this crap almost every single day. Also people passing on the shoulder is rare but I have seen it happen...the people who did it got away with it, but there was some stress for a bit as he was starting to run out of shoulder to drive on...again, patience please ...your not so important you need to endanger everyone so you can get to your girlfriends house 2 minutes faster.

This came up after watch GTA modding videos. The pop up foliage reminds me of that game, so that's something that could be improved on in future titles if there's an engine limitation, but this no doubt puts it to shame with the physics, harsh crashing sounds and perhaps general driving. Every car in GTA felt the same with it's over sensitive steering, no indicators, a flawed traffic system, questionable ai of other drivers and no working wipers. Some of the mods no longer work well
