Neilogical Tom999 was the person who made this map back in the early days of BeamNG, but he left the community after some “conflict” with the EULA for BeamNG. This is a remastered version of the map that we all wanted to return to the game.

Tom999 (previously Tom666) was a member who used to make Vehicle skins and a few maps (the original of this map and The Bronx). Tom ended up in a dispute with the developers because he thought his content was stolen by them, so his profile was deleted by his request (which is why you can't find any of his content on the BeamNG site).

Hey, Tom666 here. Well it was more than just one or two things, the main one was that I created the body colored trim, which had not existed in the game for three years. I uploaded a zip and gave it to one of the Devs so he could use it as an example for other people to create skin presets. That zip also contained the body colored trim mod as part of the file, two weeks later in the very next update, Body colored trim was magically added to the game, so you tell me how they came up with that idea? There was other stuff like popular licensed skins I created that were turned into BeamNG knockoffs, but whatever, they weren't mine to begin with but the ideas for the knockoffs came from a basic copy and paste of what I had done. There was a luxury version of the Grand Marshall I modded called the royale, they also used that name for their own version of the wheels for their luxury version of the Grand Marshal. When you put all of that together along with other things I don't care to mention I felt enough was enough, I was sick of being used for ideas without any shred of credit. So I took down my content and requested my profile to be deleted. I have stayed in touch with a few members from BeamNG on other gaming forums and give away ownership of my old custom stuff to people who are personal friends and are extremely talented at what they do. I no longer harbor any ill will towards the Devs of BeamNG, what's done is done and I simply packed up and left. Their excuse was none of the BeamNG staff ever used my mods or saw any of the pictures I had posted, which I couldn't believe as they personally test every single mod before uploading it to their repository. That hobby was all I had at the time and they not only used the many different original ideas, concepts and names for them but they chose to become defensive and lie about it. I now mod for myself and have a job doing what I love to do. I no longer need or want to be a part of that particular "game".

Shit not fair devs are should not copy your work shit fuck shit what about the content? No fair devs should know better not to copy!! SHiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttt
@MrTom66697 жыл бұрын
I agree, but it's old history now. One good thing came of it though, they decided to hire a cheap lawyer who gave them a stock standard EULA (legal agreement). Which stated at the time any uploaded material was automatically the property of BeamNG, as a result dozens of top modders also removed their content and left the game never to return. By the time they amended the legal agreement it was too late, a great deal of the modders had left with their custom content. Their (BeamNG) poorly executed response damaged their reputation and was not changed until many people stated they would stop uploading to their site, it took more than six months to change the legal agreement to not have automatic ownership of freely made and supplied content, which by that time was too little too late. You could say I kind of kicked off the whole thing and forced them into a position where people supplying content woke up to what was happening. And they left. BeamNG couldn't have made it worse for themselves if they tried, which is kind of the point, they didn't try at all. Merely stated "what is yours is now ours" and there is nothing you can do about it. Public relations disaster. A pretty spectacular failure on their behalf. Best not to treat people who supply content free of charge out of the goodness of sharing something cool as sweat shop slave labor with their company's legal right to take whatever they wanted and use however they please. What could have been a really cool place where anything was possible ended quite fast and has since never recovered. The fact I gave Ghost187 the crash test hall for him to own and do whatever he wanted with was my choice in getting over the bad situation they created which robbed the average user of freely supplied content. I never wanted to make the gamers the victims because of what happened so I started giving my content away to the best modders I could find. I was/am done with it. Others now own my content and are free to do with it whatever they want and I wanted them to share it back to you guys to have fun with, which was my only intention. Ghost187 has done a wonderfully excellent job making this his own in a way I no longer cared to do, I wish him the best and all the credit goes to him for the BIHS crash test hall. Job well done!.

@tom6669 Dude, I'm afraid that I'm going to play the devil's advocate here. Going back in times of Rigs of Rods, I found that the starting quad of the BeamNG.drive, where moders themselves. That means from psychological perspective they forgot that where developers, and not moders, (and a couple more excuses that I am too bored to write). Back to today, and after the whole story, I think that the developers of BeamNG.drive must give you the credits for the skin implementation. In order for this to happen, is the soft way to do this is to find someone who has the required bla-bla skills to buzz Tdev, the expensive way of jury court, which requires money, and time, or the hard way of being face to face straight with Tdev.

If you compare the crashes of the cars in this video, the newer cars look more deadly because A). New cars are faster (discounting old drag cars) and B). Neil's driving
@plexiglass-kz2si7 жыл бұрын
I think they could easily make at least the steering wheel Airbag for the BeamNG cars. They could just make the *Inflatable Mat* smaller, rounden it a bit, paint it white and bam! As for the inflation part, they could, when the car crashes, make a sudden and rapid *Air* explosion (?) into it, by Air, I mean either the thing inside the car tires, or the *Wind* from the *Wind Speed* UI App. They could do all of these. Couldn't they?
@CipherOS7 жыл бұрын
Άγγελος Μιχαηλίδης THIS NEEDS ALOT OF CHANGES IN JBEAMS,NODES,DAE's Because BeamNG Developers is not stupid,and needs additional node in steering wheel that pops up after airbag deployed,and that means more lag for low pc users
@ORIGIN4LFluffy7 жыл бұрын
8:45 Actually, funny you mention that. I've heard that some stunt teams use BeamNG.drive to plan out and test. That's only hearsay, though, I'm not 100% certain it's true, but if it is, that's pretty neat-o.
@basedana7 жыл бұрын
well nei I got something to tell ya 1950's cars did hold up on crashes the problem was that the cabin took a lot of damage and there was no airbags so what I'm saying is that the burnside special crashes are realistic
@m4xwellmurd3r7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you can see the A pillar crumple, the door popped out of the frame as a result, an the dash crushed in towards the driver. That steering wheel would have definitely crushed your chest in that crash. I'll bet the drivers legs would have been demolished too from that area of the frame crushing.

Lol, I think it's great that you love this game but know bits and pieces ;) about vehicles in general. That's all good though, fun vids and I enjoy watching them (a vehicle that bursts into flames in the front is because of the oil igniting ((in the oil pan or the engine leaking)) usually from the spark plugs breaking apart or other electrical components ((live wires)) in the front of the vehicle igniting the oil INCLUDING the battery which can also catch fire and explode, as well as the fuses cracking open while the filament is still intact, just so you know. Also, the heat from the radiator breaking apart or even a crack in the block creating an oil leak or even a loose hose can be dangerous. Add sparks and you have an engine ready to flare-up! Just a heads up!)

In real life the front windsheild doesnt shatter the front windshields are triple layered so they dont break into chunks of glass that could hurt the driver. The side windows break because they are used to get people out if the doors are locked/jammed.
