Beanie’s “Feel It In The Air” is one of the greatest ever songs in rap/Hip Hop. It’s incredible. The beat is out of this world and Beanie brought his A game with the lyrics. “I’m still afloat, I ain’t the captain of the yacht but I’m on a boat, I ain’t acting what I’m not knowing that I don’t”

@@TaylorSantana1022 nobody said you need alcohol to keep it real or people don't tell the truth when they are sober. What I'm saying is when you ask a person a certain question they might dance around it or answer it politically correct. But under the influence they might just blurt out the first thing that comes to mind being brutally honest. It's like going on Hot Boxing with Mike Tyson or B Real if you know you don't wanna smoke or get high and talk shit do the podcast from your home or something 🤷🏾‍♂️ we wanna see if artist can handle their liquor or what they act like when they're buzzing. Stay in yo lame ass world don't worry about mines!

I’ve been binging out these Drink Champs interviews. I LOVED the Krayzie Bone one. I’m having a good time with this one too. It’s really interesting seeing these guys who I viewed as titans when I was a kid. And now I get to see them as older married men who see the world in a completely different way than they used to. They talk about their marriages. They talk about their kids. It’s a total far cry from these legendary beefs and street stories they created 😂 it’s like relating to them for the first time all over again.

Dope interview but after DMX I cringe whenever Nore keeps trying to peer pressure folks with known addiction problems in their past to drink. Bro sometimes all it takes is that one sip to trigger a person and send them in the wrong direction. If they say nah they good he should just leave it at that, respect what they are trying to do, they don’t need to take a drink in order to receive their flowers.

@@samuelngadi373 True, But he eventually came around and got more real later in the interview when he expressed "Jay was on a mission. And when you're trying to get to certain places, everyone can't go." I think he was saying that during that time-frame his mind-state was real street and heavy on the fact that Hov didn't even wanna vouch for his whereabouts or give him a chance to skip town, etc. But fast forward, and he owns the fact that he was living too damn wild, and should have never felt entitled and expecting Hov to place such responsibility on his shoulders. Because yes, Hov doesn't become a billionaire today, by rolling the dice and running the risk of Beanie Sigel fucking up the whole operation yesterday.

@@andreearl3258 Feel me? At that time, bro was seriously wanting Hov to be responsible for his whereabouts while he ruminated on whether or not to skip town? Picture Shawn Carter having to explain that one to the judge. I mean, I don't know the law, but I'm making an educated guess that there would have been a HEFTY financial penalty in the event Jay let Beans slip out the back door. Why? Because he AGREED to be RESPONSIBLE for that man if set free. And he most definitely would had to have signed paperwork to honor that agreement with the court.

@@BigSleeveLess this is true, but I remember an interview that he did where he talked about how he chartered a plane and had everyone from the hood as well as relatives on it. I don’t know about you, but I don’t know 200+ people that I’m trying to save. What he was doing was noble, but I’m not willing to go bankrupt over it. I remember him saying the same people that he used to have on the road with him didn’t return the same energy or sentiments when the table was turned.
