“You ought to be nice to someone when they don’t know something. That’s how I was brought up.” That’s pretty profound actually. Especially in our culture at the moment.

The corn thing, so true. Married a country girl and she talked about "picked corn' and I asked if that's what we were going to eat. Just go right out back and pick some, fresh off the stalk. She laughed for a little too long. I had misheard her. She was saying "pig corn"- what they feed to livestock.

Oh no you don't. Don't go introducing yet a third variety of corn. Or maybe just maybe she was confused and calls "field corn" by its slang name, "pig corn".

This guy is funny. Just started watching his videos last week lmao. I’m happy to say I know the difference between field corn and sweet but that’s only cause it’s grown locally one type across the street from the other so luckily I learned what’s what, but it can be hard to tell

Yeah, that field ketchup is no good. You've got to get that sweet ketchup tapped right from a ketchup tree up in Canada.

We had a ketchup tree in the back yard when I was a kid. It made me cry because I thought it was bleeding and it must hurt.
