Beany and Cecil-- Davey Cricket

Beany and Cecil visit Eight, Nine, Tennessee to meet that legendary hero Davey Cricket and bring him back to Hollywood to be a star of the silver screen. Dishonest John gets to Davey first and offers him a most odorous CON-tract. Davey unceremoniously sends D.J. back to civilization, but Beany and Cecil succeed where D.J. failed by introducing Davey to that glamorous Leading Lady Bug and they quickly become a couple.
