0:57 for those who are confused, what they were doing here is filling the tire with flammable liquid, then setting it on fire. What this does is it rapidly causes the air to expand, filling up the tire. The reason this works only on really flat tires is Because the tire is so flat, the tube is pushed up against the wheel, and because the tube is made of rubber it, has a body of its own and stays in the circle, which breaks the seal that the tire normally has on the wheel, so the air has a place to rush in. Once the tire fills up, the tire is no longer pushed up against the wheel and it seals back up again, so the air can’t get out.

that made me laugh so hard when i saw that
@shelbyseelbach95683 жыл бұрын
You are close, but this is not a tubed tire. The rapid expansion simply seats the bead, the shape of the tire and the reinforcing in the bead simply leave the tire no where else to go but into place when there air inside is explosively expanded.

That was a Russian boar (Razorback boar). We have them in the wild in the US. They teach hunters to shoot those boars the moment you see it. Never wait, just shoot. As soon as it sees you, it will come at you to try to kill you. Those tusks as sharp and it will gut a horse and once it gets you on the ground, look out.
@NotUrProfile3 жыл бұрын
this reminded me of the barbirusas. their tusks grew long and curves backwards. eventually, the tusks grew so long that it would penetrate their own skulls and theyd die. the thing is theyre not extinct yet. must really suck. probably one of the worst ways to die. slowly day by day the pain of the tusks entering in your head. they were really screwed by nature.

There's a reason a "boar spear" has a crossbar behind the point and it's not to hook anything. It's to stop it from running up the shaft and killing you after you stabbed it. For anyone concerned about the USS Arizona: It is absolutely still leaking oil, and any source you check will tell you that. We're talking about a MASSIVE amount of oil that this ship was carrying, and it's been slowly leaking out ever since. Many, many studies have been done about the lasting effects, but there are several reasons why we can't just go down and fix it. It's a military grave with over 900 people entombed there who were trapped on the ship when it sunk and 40+ veterans who wanted their urns placed there. The oil in the ship is stuck in a very hard to reach and precarious location that makes getting to it very expensive and dangerous. We also don't know if the oil is creating gas that keeps the ship intact and not collapsing on itself. Still, plenty of people are still trying to figure out the best way to help.
@speedy012473 жыл бұрын
perhaps make some sort of oil catch around where the ship is located so it doesn't spread everywhere. (I don't think its that big of a problem seeing as it's still leaking so it can't leak that much, I am just offering a solution for those who don't think its acceptable)
@dofehino54443 жыл бұрын
just bomb it? are they american or not?

Great collection as always. Interesting to hear your narration about the U.S.S. Arizona and Pearl Harbor. It reminds me how long ago 80 years is from our lifetimes, but what a short period of time it is when you consider all of America's history. I was there in the 1980's and it was the leaking oil that resonated with me the most back then. And the lives lost - and bodies that are still in the wreckage. Then, all the millions of lives that were lost during WWII - Thank you for including this footage.
