If we compared it to human size, wouldn't you be afraid of two enraged bull-terriers charging at you, even if they are only 1/3 your body weight? The bear was probably just trying to steal their food lmao. I would not even be sure that the biggest pig was not around the same weight than the bear, seeing how easily he is pushing it.

Because predators have to be careful. An injury could mean death. For prey the go all out when defending themselves, because they have nothing to lose. If you get attacked by a predator it can be presuaded that you're not worth the calories. If you get attacked by a (large) prey animal that decided that you pose a danger to it, you're fucked.
