I have a 45 lb Bear Montana. Put together a small range in my garage that allows me to work on fundamentals when I can't rove, hunt, or get to the range. Great video as always.

Cheers mate.........l agree with sticking to the one bow.........but sometimes we think the next bow is better. Been using a Hoyt Dorado for the last 6 years, it’s all l need and works well for me. Thanks for your vids, all the best from DownUnder.

Using only one bow helps the brain to be more consistent with the shots for sure. Congrats on the Hoyt it’s a awesome bow. Thanks for checking in from down under. I had the pleasure of visiting Perth in the 1980’s when I was in the navy. Awesome people there. Pretty country as well.

Very nice. I bought a Bear Montana a couple years back. The brown model, 50#. Wouldn't you know I got that rare bad one. At full draw (31.5") it blew up in my face. Second day. Came apart at the riser. I Only sustained a couple minor cuts/bruises, and 3Rivers took care of me. Bear sent me a label to return the bow to their plant in Florida for inspection. I never heard anything about it, but didn't really expect to.

That's very disappointing to hear about Bear Archery not responding back. Ever since they went corporate, it seems to me that things haven't been the same.
@Wingman1154 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. How did the new one hold up for you.
@shanepitzer41264 жыл бұрын
@@Wingman115 Well, 3Rivers refunded my money, which was $399.00. Since that was about half the cost of a Toelke Whip, I used it as a downpayment to commission the Toelke. The build went fast, in three weeks I got the call my bow was ready, so I sent the balance, and Dan sent the bow. I was almost of a mind to drive over and pick it up, since he's only 200 miles or so away, but it got here fast by Priority Mail, like overnight. Anyhoo, I love the Toelke, it's a 64" and 40# at 28".

Hello which string do you use with this bow?

@xfactoroutdoors1654 жыл бұрын
Awfully stiff arrows for that. I ran 600s cut to 29 200 up front on my 50lb montana 27inch draw. It was money. Arrows flew like darts.
@Wingman1154 жыл бұрын
My first world problem is and I hate to admit it is. I have to many bow's. If I tuned arrows to all the bows I have well you get the picture it wouldn't be good.

@@Wingman115 $$$!! 😆
@rickharper58354 жыл бұрын
I see you're shooting with an aftermarket string. It's a shame Bear sends out a good bow with a crappy string. Putting a good string on a Montana lets it come alive.
@xfactoroutdoors1654 жыл бұрын
String was fine that came with mine. Nothing spectacular but good.
