I just turned 28 ... hunting is so precious to me ... the whole thing not just dragging out a big buck and I think all the time .... how many more times will I be able to do this ... I always remind myself so I enjoy and appreciate every moment.

Since the beginning of this hunt, I wished to be there for every part, the flat tire, the rough roads, the challenges of sharing public land with other hunters. Fantastic stuff as usual. My new background on my phone is a screenshot of Dan's face just after the kill shot. Keep it up.

What a awesome series and to end it on this note is the way we like it. I know a few people don't believe in this but that's ok but I think there might of been someone sitting in the tree with you that night Dan and helped make this happen for you. What a great bunch of guys and that's what makes it fun is everyone pitches in when needed and that's what any camp is about. Congrats to the whole team here cause you all made this series happen. Congratulations Brother Dan, what an incredible bear & what an incredible hunt. I really hope & pray that we can regain true comradery once again as hunters, I think we're getting back to that point & that's how it should be. TN opens up in 8 day's & im Feelin Beasty, going to LBL National Forest & going full Beast tactics. 1st time up there, been studying the aerial terrain map like crazy its huge. But I've got narrowed down to 2 long ridges I'm really going to key in on, I feel pretty good about it even with never setting foot there before. We shall see my friend. Thanks for a great video Dan and congrats ! My 13 year son and I just watched it. He now wants to go bear hunting next year. My Dad, his GrandPa, has enough points in WI and will transfer them to him and we will apply for a tag. We have a cabin in far northern WI in the national forest right in the heart of bear country. He wants to use his bow. How ironic, it is a Bear brand. We have been practicing and he is so excited to also hunt the WI deer bow season. What a great time of year. We are so lucky, blessed and privileged to live in this great nation!
