Awesome Knife Thank you for sharing this with us. This is a beautiful knife and yet I’ve heard of bear & sons I never knew they are a USA made company THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING US THIS AWESOME BLADE that’s cool the little pocket clip it’s funny because when you showed the pocket clip looked like a face looking at me the screws are the eyes the clip is the mouth and nose lol 😂

Great video, on the Bear & Son's website it lists the steel as "440 Stainless Steel" for the lockback version so I'd imagine they use the same for this version?

Good knives for 25. My first bear and son was the large farmhand lockback in carbon steel. The alum scales make the knive very light. But yes not much grip. And the pocket clip sucks. I going to removed mine. Dont see them for sale anymore. Only SS. I agree very sharp!

'Gratz on the subs ! Nice enough looking little knife, but I don't see the point of pocket clips on knives of that type tbh. If I was going to use it, that clip would come straight off. Btw, I always work on the principle thati if it just says ' Stainless Steel ' it's probably 420j2 or 440A or similar. If were 440c or similar they seem to like to brag about it lol.

This checks all the boxes for a work knife . I would remove the clip too. I pull all my pocket clips off . You will only drag a clip down the side of your wifes brand new car one time . That was a rough day . 😢.

I’d guess the steel is likely to be a 420 as I believe 7cr is a Chinese steel. I like Sodbusters but I’m not keen on the painted aluminium covers.
