Bear Trucks R&D

It takes a lot of work to create a solid set of skateboard trucks. Probably more than most of us realize. The process from concept to creation can be a long tedious road, but the end result is always worth the work. We’d like to give you a behind the scenes look into our process and introduce you to a few key individuals who make Bear Trucks what it is today. It's not exactly a science but sometimes you have to treat it as such.

Great video, if you want something to work on, do a 30 degree baseplate option for kodiaks and the option to buy them separately

Why does Bear have so much focus on their 52 degree trucks, with all color variations only available with such a high angle truck. I feel like with the added rake already keeping the trucks lively, the 45's being more versatile and useable for downhill, would be so much nicer to focus marketing attention on with a few extra colors and maybe hanger width variations.

i had a brand new bear baseplate explode on me when i was riding it was almost brand new i weighed about 180 at the time and i almost broke my finger i could have been really injured i went to the landyachtz store and they gave me new baseplates and told me they were making stronger metal trucks now i see my new bears years later have a hollowed out king pin should i trust it...... let me know! thanks
