I got to get insulators to use on an existing wood fence. I got to camp out on a friend's property by where someone that was feeding bears died. It has a fence to which it can attach the rope in some places but not other places. I got to clean the place up and chase off the bears. I hope the fence works I don't want to harm them.

Thanks for the comment! I haven’t had a bear encounter with the system so I would have to say it’s untested at this point, but it is one more level of protection and a little bit of piece of mind. We still use all bear safety precautions just to be on the safe side. You do have to be somewhat gentle with the corner posts and plastic clips, and I believe they mention it not being suitable for grizzlies, so just keep that in mind when venturing to Alaska. I think it would be better if the wire was more visible, so animals could see/avoid it before touching it.

Salut! Thank you for the comment and my apologies for the late reply. I see that they have changed their website since I purchased our system, but we have what would now be called the Standard Plus Fence System with the 25 foot square fence. The difference from what I can see of each system is the square footage of wire included. Hope this helps!
