Bearcat makes awesome chippers . My friend owns a bearcat and I have a Wallenstien . Both units are power feed. They are both bullet proof and unreal performance . And are made in North America . If you got serious chipping too do then pay the money . You will never regret it and they hold there value 👍👍👍👍 . Good demo as always 👍👍

Bearcat makes a fantastic chipper. We have a PTO powered one at work. Could have definitely used one of these today though as our tractor was occupied with other stuff.

That thing is crazy would chop you up in secs think it's kinda odd the display will true to the feed so you can turn it on before you chop yourself up haha

As large as the compact and sub-compact tractor market has become, it's almost a little surprising that there don't seem to be any chippers with a live infeed belt that'd support being loaded by a tractor or other piece of equipment. Granted using a tractor with grapple (or a mini-ex) to help hold/feed that style of chipper can work, but it still requires a fair amount of muscle/handwork.... ...but still less than having to solely hand-feed everything on larger projects.

Actually got mine years ago from the plant in Fargo where they are built 😂. CH800H on the front of a skid steer works great. Don't know if Crary still builds them or not.

I was thinking about buying a chipper in the past, until I found out you need to buy expensive blades that need to be replaced constantly.

Depends what you're feeding it and how often you use it. Mine's a cheap chinese knock off of a Wallenstein, I've had it 3 years and still on first set of blades. They're reverseable too, so I've got at least as long again to go. I don't do a huge amount of chipping, because I make firewood out of anything large enough to burn, but what I do means I don't have to cart stuff to the green waste.

Hand feeding a chipper, naaah, much more fun to use your grapple to make a pile and burn it. Unless you have a use for the chips.

I agree, but not an option for everyone. Where I live I can't burn anything at any time of year, even with a permit. My options are rent a chipper or haul it off and pay the state to burn it for me.

@@svtirefire Good point. Didn't consider that burning is not an option for everyone. If I couldn't burn I would probably have to purchase a chipper, we have dead Ash trees that I'll be cleaning up for years.
