I had the patchy beard that didnt connect at all, and then I let it grow for 5 months and it started to connect. I use fenugreek oil which helps.

Not actually 100% true as you get older more hairs start appearing on your face for example your eyebrows start to grow longer nose hair, even ear hair! So people that couldn't grow a beard before I know been able to grow it later on in life
