No he clearly wasn’t ready to repent. We don’t need tragic villains every time. Villains like cackletta and fawful are beloved simply because they’re evil. Same goes for reclusa. Honestly I was wishing that the bros would have finished him with a fire+ice bomb at that point while he realizes that the messed with the wrong pair of brothers and their bond

Whwt an amazing game. Also, I liked that the after credit ending is like "Well, it's now back to the usual mushroom kingdom once again" Yep, this is life in mushroom kingdom everybody. I also liked that bowser saved mario bros. He knows that even though they are rivals with each other, it's best to keep their rivals alive.

@@speedymatt1236 You see, that was cryo-freezing something to preserve them, meaning they could be alive when thawed. And the ultra beasts aren't evil per say, they are just aliens who don't know better. Reclusa's mission is to destroy utterly via isolated dreamscapes where the victims basically have no idea that they are pretty much going to starve to death in until the world is nothing but corpses hung in flowers. And he's done this to *MULTIPLE* worlds and aiming for the Mushroom Kingdom as his next victim I'll take the Shadow Queen's enslavement, thanks

Wow the devs did a uno reverse in the final battle with Bowsers inside Story. Instead of Bowser inhaling the dark star core and swallowing it and Fawful to fight the bros inside him, the bros go into tree Reclusa fuses with after fighting on the outside and brought the fight to the inside.

Well, they had to be creative when coming to the battles and story. The new team gets my respect for this.

@@Fredcat11 Yep they tied dream team together nicely, made a Paper Jam reference after being captured by Bowser’s minions, and made various other cameos from superstar saga and partners in time with the reefs and bros moves like Ball and UFO. Could there have been more boss fights or a boss gauntlet like the last 3 games? Sure I would have liked to see it.

In my opinion the ending was incredibly disappointing. Final boss was easy as hell, and it just felt like something was lacking. The only other thing I don’t like about this game is the lack of music. Hearing the same 2 boss tracks for every boss except reclusa was really disappointing. The characters were phenomenal though
