i just took off the label at the bottom and the clear tape on it and now my mouse feels way faster idk if it makes it any much lighter but it made it feel smoother

I've been a fan of various sleeper pc builds but to see it achieved on a mouse is quite breathtaking. Will there any chance of you giving tutorial to debounce the mouse switch with Set/release latch method in the future?

Good stuff, I am on the verge of getting into mouse modding, I have bought a bunch of high-end mouses now, but I find the old cheap LG 300S my favourite mouse for good KD ratios, it's simply the small size/shape that works for me, I also like having a few extra buttons. I want to take a higher-end wired gamer mouse and jam it into a G300S shaped shell, this would be my ultimate mouse!

nice one as usual, this is basically what i did to my logitech g400 got it from 106 grams down to 74 grams if i remember correctly it improved it a ton, i wounder how a below 60 mouse would feel like.

@@victorng2996 i have an Xtrfy M42 now and man the 3389 sensor what a difference it made and i can feel the geometry of the mouse and how low profile it is compared to my previous a rather long serving brick :) sleep well i guess to my old friend hehe

Ik this is really late but It feels heavenly. Used a 52g mm710 for a year, it broke a week ago and I can already feel the extra weight when I went to the Viper Mini. That’s why I’m here.

@@Beardedbob Hello, received my viper finally, been using it for about 2 days. Initial impression, the mouse feels very premium and very light and was impressed by the build quality. There are two issues though. The LOD is certainly high (will try the tape mod at a later date) and not sure if the ring sensor rubs on the mat but I do feel it when I press on the MB1 or MB2. Even though it has a few faults, am definitely keeping it. Thanks again.

When you make these kinds of modifications does not affect the performance of the mouse sensor note that brings me really crazy with your videos and tomorrow I will make a slight modification to my mouse roccat burst pro haber if I can gain some light :)

It shouldn't fail no. If you cut the base to close to the sensor you could cause some issues potentially, I've not yet had this issue. P.s Roccat, Ducky, M42, NP-01, MOW, GPWSL reviews all coming asap

Thats some extreme modding. I don't have the guts to do that, but I do appreciate watching! I can learn a lot from it as well. Btw I see you don't have that plastic over the sensor. I opened my Viper Mini soon as I got it to fix the M2 that was a little loose, and I noticed that plastic that I've never seen before. I only saw one person mentioning it, and even he wasn't sure, apparently for him it was to help with the lod issue. Do you have any idea of why that plastic is there?

Any chance you can try lexips on the rvm as a lod fix? I've tried the tape/calibration methods but both made slight changes to the sensor. Thanks for the vids brother

I can try some Iexip on it and see what the LOD is with them on it. Lexip are 1.2mm thick where normal skatez are around 0.7mm. So form that you can have a good idea what the LOD will be with them on.

I'm not sure if you know the answer to this, but could I desolder the side mouse buttons and resolder them on a pcb that uses regular mouse switches? Because I really want my wireless viper mini mod (with a g305 pcb) to use optical switches.

You can't use the optical switches on the main LMB and RMB on another mouse that doesn't already them. You can reuse the side buttons which are TTC mechanical though.

Check your sens settings abs test them out on kovvac to see which you get a better score with them convert that sens into your game sens and nail them headshots 👌🏻. I’m planning to do a video to show people how to use data to improve their aim. Keep an eye out for it

Question- i have removed the back plate and the sticker with all the screws from my viper mini and i also put some grip tapes on the sides and on the main buttons. Is it possible i have fucked up weight distribution? Backplate is, well located on the back and grips are mainly on the front so I'm just curious is it possible that i have somehow messed up the balance?
